Ok sorry if this you already know this but with the halving, rewards will drop to 6.25, miners will then start switching off, this will bring down difficulty to mine... difficulty will not increase as a result of the halving, it will increase in time as more miners start to get more efficient and start playing again...

Would be interested to understand the logic there

This is currently sitting at 16,104,807,485,529 which is the highest it’s ever been but thank god it’s the final adjustment before halving... the difficulty will come down dramatically only if the miners start switching off their rigs... this will happen for sure but I’m Sure some will try and slog it out as long as possible...
Argo results for the month not too bad, I expect a lot more over the coming months, target still £1 here in 1-2 years, 30p by end of the year...

That is a large trade, it’s 3% of the company... it’s obviously the fund guys which is great, this is exactly the type of churn we like... trade would have been struck earlier and dropped into the market and reported delayed... this is good guys, some more to go but they get soaked up... we have 11m retained losses which makes us prime target for rto... gl

RNS not received at 7am but could be intraday or even tomorrow, another opportunity to buy some, sell some or sot on your hands... seems we have some very excited posters and to some extent, rightly so... I use a value of $30 for gold in the ground at lower confidence levels, so our current 211k oz is worth £5m, just on that asset... there are 3 scenarios which could play out in my eyes for the asset:

1) no further gold is found, therefore we still have a value of £5m which is roughly 3.5p/share
2) further gold is found and we increase resource to 1m oz, this is about £25m, equating to 17.5p/share
3) we establish an iocg deposit and we see a value of £300m on the resource in 2-3 years, about £2/share

Anyway good luck, and eyes peeled on the news...

Is what draws me here, potential takeover target just to get the shell and retained losses to offset future profits, mcap sub £1m looks cheap, funding isn’t great but they shifting it...

Just joining some dots for those that are interested...
1) so they have hired a new Geo, experienced etc etc, why do you think they would do this? I certainly wouldn’t hire a geo if the data was poor or lacking
2) they are doing some new samples and reassessing some old ones for multi minerals etc, so we already know the gold is there, why do you think they are interested in finding out other minerals? If you research iocg, then this fits in with that idea
3) keeping with the iocg theme, the company were requested to apply for iocg grant, why would they do this? They must have some confidence that the iocg is there
4) some happy to sell at 1.6p which is fine, but with news incoming today, Monday or tues, I’d say it’s a little premature to sell

Going to be a couple months yet and then we really go to the races... bitcoin halving will lead to miners having to switch off hopefully, which will in turn bring down the difficulty... BTC prices will increase and Argo will be making huuuggggeee amounts of money..: just sitting in the background relaxing...

Some options re funding:
1) get the 2p warrants in play to raise funds that way
2) take debt from lender, either bank or other, collaterised against either wudinna or Alfred
3) raise money through placement with shareholders
4) issue CLN on mutually beneficial terms with existing supportive shareholders
5) bring in some local investment into the asset

Quite a few options, not sure if you’ve invested in a small explorer before, turning them into an operator etc etc is hard work and does cost money, but I honestly believe we have a huge asset here... just take a look at the new presentation on the website today...
