CINE have not said they will partially close... In fact the article actually says cine have not confirmed anything. Rumor only.

What exactly is the RNS going to say?

A declaration of intent to maybe close theatres?

I'd gamble on a press release and a RNS to follow in due course.

Game of Thrones were upload within 10 mins of finishing their simulcast (HBO)...available to watch in HD. A friend used to send me screenshots of him watching it to wind me up (with subtitles).

Anyone one who thinks a P/VOD release is better for studios than a cinema release is deluded.

I can turn on my PC, my Phone, my TV, right now load Kodi and download any number of apps and watch EVERYTHING in full HD for FREE, literally minutes after release.

I think the 'considering' aspect is because it's a news leak.... and there's no official press release...

I was told by Cine customer services that the bookings are NOT done centrally and therefore opening / showing times can vary across the business as per demand.

Cine customer service are active on Facebook but have not addressed any concerns about the closures from what I can see... probably in the dark as usual.

UK Cineworld are much better at responding than REGAL who very rarely respond to anything. The yanks are asking the same questions and there's no news forthcoming.

Massive drop the ball moment from a customer service perspective .

Reduced operations has been running for nearly 2 weeks... No movies in the afternoon, I think from 3pm till close... I wouldn't assume that the news is referencing the late starts that have already been implemented.
