You just took a view that the stock was a little 'toppy' so sold some shares at a profit. . Good feeling. We all wish we had done the same. The main reason I did not do the same is what the Yank brokers call "FOMO".. 'It means Fear of Missing Out'........... What if the stock had continued its stellar climb?
Mentally, you want to be in this stock long term, but you saw an opportunity and took it.. David Attenborough says the Animal World is not about survival by being the biggest, strongest, fastest or fittest. It is the survival by being the 'opportunist'!
If you go to gamble in Macao you will see the Chinese gamblers will stand behind a 'lucky winner' and ride his back and copy his bets. I wish I had done the same as you.......

Consider the statement......

“If demand is high and lots of people are buying shares, the price of shares goes up!”

Therefore…

“If lots of people start selling shares, the price goes down!”

But, hang on …

For every Sell there has to be someone to sell it to - someone who is buying the share - thus allowing the Sell.”

So...therefore…

“A large amount of Sells also means a large amount of Buys.!!”

Which begs the Question…

“Are these people fools?
Why are they buying stock that is going down in value?”

A share going down in price can represent a good buying opportunity. A demand for cheaper shares is not necessarily negative.

Patience ? Patience? I have been patient since I was amongst the first 100 investors in 2005. Last week I added another 17K shares at 45.5p. Well over 150k shares owned now. All in for the very long term. Hopefully £3+. I could have shaved and traded along the way, and probably made a lot of dosh, but my sense of timing is nothing to brag about. So, I will crawl back in my basket and wait, with patience..........

The killing of these poor tiny migratory birds also happens on British Territorial soil in Cyprus today. The British military don't do anything to stop it. It's on land they control. I know, being ex Army. The locals glue up the branches and when the bird lands exhausted it can't fly away, and so it gets pulled off by the 'hunter' leaving it's legs behind. It's then stuffed into a bag by the hunter and dies a slow agonising death. Sick people. Sick and ignorant.
