Are there any chartists on this board who can estimate the resistance in the mid 20s? I guess there are a lot of PIs like me who - having suffered the systematic SP drops over the last year - will be pleased to just get their money back, let alone get out at a profit. Hence the sales in the last 24 hours.

There was an SP surge in January 2008 which failed to materialise in 2009, so the difference between a short-term target of 60, say, and the higher but longer-term targets mentioned below will depend on what happens in Jan 2010. And since 2009 was a very depressed time we can now be more optimistic, I think.

I share the broad optimisim here. It might be worth noting three minor bullish peaks in winter 07/08 and two in winter 08/09. If this seasonality is repeated we could be looking at SP around 60-70.
