RE: Conspiracy Theories (Covid/Climate) - Don't open if offended.3 Dec 2021 20:15
@SGF,
I think our slant on the situation depends on what we have read, watched and for some unfortunately experienced.
So not disagreeing just offering another angle, as I also find what we are told questionable too often..
Remember when 1 dose of AZ was almost as good as 2, and 1.5 was better than 2. So we need 2 and a booster(preferably another)?
Israel, probably the fastest to rollout AZ reported single dosed people were still getting infected, but days later they took that claim back, probably under pressure, who knows, but they were right..
Only today, Wales testing proves AZ and Pfizer are "best" against the SA variant... How effective is best?
I watched a short documentary which featured an expert in diseases, who caught covid, he explained after a number of weeks covid was no longer the issue, although he was still very ill. He explained he was then fighting his bodies reaction to covid.
From that I interpreted 28 days as being those who tested positive and died after that period would no longer be counted as a covid victim.
So I guess if someone initially had covid, then 4 weeks later died as a result of a blood clot or organ failure, then that cause would be recorded, not covid. Even though all are known consequences of covid.
Its not uncommon for someone with covid to be admitted to ICU at around two week, and die after another two weeks. So maybe 28 days is a nice way to reduce figures?
Lets say after 28 days we have a real fighter but its evident covid has impacted the kidneys and dialysis is required but there are more people requiring dialysis than available machines, so everyone has to wait their turn. Unfortunately the wait was too long , as a consequence a few days later the patient dies of kidney failure. Or was it covid? Debatable..almost a true story..
For the Gov to instruct that everyone who dies within 28 days of a positive test to be marked down as a covid death regardless does not do their case any good, especially when constantly ranked amongst the worst covid countries in the world, and especially after publicly pointing out that the advice of WHO is for middle and lower tier countries whilst boasting up the NHS.. But then again if everyone thinks the figures are over inflated that could be in the govs favour?
Total deaths, thats a difficult one, but its not going to be simply the annual count plus covid, so should it be much much higher?
I guess everyone working from home or staying home would have reduced road and work related deaths, but increased home related..
Pubs closed, probably reduced those through alcohol related head injuries, fighting and falling
Covid part replacing common flu, or catching up on the weak and those that would have passed away the same year..
But Its odd that the total deaths dont seem exceptionally higher as I need two hands to count the deaths of people I can no longer chat to while out on my dog walking round, but only 1 is known Covid,
