I am keeping my discipline, was not originally playing with profits.

ADV got a small holding, moved in some savings at the time, have about 1/2 centuries worth of high street interest..its amazing how a hundred or so trades a day can give significant gains on no official news.

The idea is protect your money, and you sound confident Vela will return a profit. Syme's business is IM, and AZ has not managed to fund a client, although since December it has been about to happen. When the 1st happens and if further IM occurs then 0.5p will be cheap, and it will have to double to get there, so there will be time to get back in so may be its worth investing your profits in a third share not so risky and build your funds until first IM happens.
Once your money is gone your out, I am down 50% on this after almost a year..

Todays price is a combination of the risked sites,some cash and Tai, so we are not really reaching its derisked value..
So roughly, without checking
21p for the other sites and 6/7p for Tai, giving 28p
I did think we were approaching Tai's derisked price until BP explained it, although looking back he was not the first..

@SGF, if we get a RNS monday you obviously intend adding, what buy in price upper limit were you thinking of setting yourself, and do you imagine a short sharp rise or may be over a few days?
Just for ideas since I dont have the experience, but you dont have to answer as its being a little cheeky

I wonder if there are limitations, certain frequencies would struggle to penetrate the casing
Since DM suggested cutting the casing then may be they don't have the gear for that.
I would guess if they were to cut the casing, they would test the lower zones first just in case debris blocked lower down so we could have those results first?

I am not sure they could wire-line the whole hole now, especially the cased portion. DM mentioned if they wanted to test the 400M zone they would need to cut the casing. I would expect wire-line testing would prove the integrity of the casing, rather than the strata the other side of the metal/cement barrier which I would guess would impede most instruments/signals attempting to cross that barrier. But I dont really know what can or cannot be done.

Once the exploration well has been completed it will be capped, and capped to allow re-entry if needed.
The appraisal well will be a new hole..

The primary target depth is still around 1100m
At 70m DM said there was just over 1000m to go, suggesting 1100m and max depth is said to be about 1200m.
The Seismic section shows the primary target to be below 1100ms, reaching 1300ms
Using 1100x1.9x0.5, estimating the signal speed, and distance traveled you get a depth of 1045m to the crest
then 1300-1100=200ms gives the estimated thickness of the target zone
200x1.9x0.5 gives another 190m...

Its not accurate, as the signal travels different speeds through different strata
But its an estimate, which is line with DMs comments.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, so really its just a bit of fun putting together posters info, and we will find out soon

It wont be a full flow test and may not be possible in the exploration hole. It is an attempt only to sample of the gas, to get an accurate percentage of helium.
At appraisal the full flow test will be done..

Currently the 3D seismic work is scheduled to end Dec/Jan, some time after appraisals
