Since I dont have a good financial background I can interpret the quote below in a number of ways
"The production sharing contract provides 100% cost recovery and 65% of the profit oil is sent to the contractor. Corporate tax is 30% and royalties are 5%."
Since I tend to think production is done by the operator, which I am assuming is Carnarvon..
Could someone clarify who is sharing, the contractor/s that get the profit(65%) and anything else that is obvious..?

One thing I learned from posters was the free ride tactic, buying extra at the start of where you think the price is likely to rise, then selling the extra later, its hard to keep too though once you see the potential your pot has..
And to be flexible with your plans as news changes..
The hardest is taking opportunities at the right time...

So which one of you snatched my buy, I confirmed the buy well within time and somebody else got it, or was it because the price moved up and the MM wanted more from me :(

@momoni, as long as things progress roughly in-line with the project plan, and if one of the other wells is a discovery, hopefully not too long..

I expect DM to move to another site simply because that is the project plan, if he stays at Tai, now that will start some speculation, more than a hash tag..

@ShareInvestment, I hope you managed to buy in Sept 2020 where I see the price was 0.2p.
On the He1 BB, some of the guys there were from the previous company ATTIS and shared their unlucky experience.
I was on the QFI BB for a while, some guys have been there for a long time, learnt a lot there but did not invest worth keeping an eye on though.
Every 2-3 years for a 10 bagger, I will be happyy with that,

Was hoping you had a way to sniff out companies like He1 and ADV, both of which I found by lucky tips
Both having broker reports giving risked and unrisked sp targets, so you know the potential and can take advantage of getting in early, and if news flow is good hold for longer..
I have had a lucky start with AIM companies by the looks of it, but all thanks to a few very helpful guys

Saint-Tropez mentioned ADV have been performing well over a 12 month period so have been doing some research, a little company history and the founders..
It definitely feels like an opportunity not to be missed

Tax advantages of holding AIM shares in an ISA

You won't be taxed on dividends from AIM shares held in an ISA, nor will you have to pay Capital Gains Tax (CGT) on any of the profits you make. If your investments aren't held in a tax-efficient wrapper, you'll be taxed on profits above the annual CGT allowance, which in the 2021-22 tax-year is £12,300. The standard CGT rate is 10%, while the higher rate is 20%.

Dividends received in ISAs are also exempt from tax. If investments are held outside an ISA, the Dividend Allowance means that individuals receive their first £2,000 in dividends tax-free, but any dividends above this amount will be charged at 7.5% for basic rate taxpayers, 32.5% for higher rate taxpayers and 38.1% for additional rate taxpayers. There is also no stamp duty on shares traded on the AIM whether or not they are bought in an ISA.
