only shorters make money in a bear market all the way down and only people who know what is going to happen do not go anywhere near buying in after a stock has gone up 5p to 3quid a share in 2 months. all losses on the way down with the odd move up. the maths say you lost loads. your deluded.

you have a problem with being careful in the markets. so people say you bought all the way down in arb. enough said.

totally agree. no one makes big money trying to work it all out. never use fundamentals in a raging bull market. only use fundamentals at the bottom and the top. i use technicals and the herd. i do not give one jot about fundamentals in a sector bull market where most stocks in that sector are going mental. i only look at fundamentals at the top which always means sell, enjoy your money and clear off.

it never will be an exact science from the bottom to the top. the spikes and last spike will dictate the top. just do not get impaled on any of them because that forces panic sell at a way lower price.

it sounds insane. off your head and all that. not if you understand the technicals, bitcoin cycle, the maths, the history of crypto, other bull markets etc. this is all at a whole new different level. i have 140 thousand dollars bitcoin in about 24 months to 30 months from now. i need to up my game. ha ha. in all seriousness if you believe this is a whole new level of investing , understand the technicals and risk/ reward and can handle the pullbacks you are in for some ride with the miners/bitcoin. i think we are all here for the chance .

yep. they are both moving well. a profit is a profit. selling too soon is crap but selling too late is worse.

in a boom they will all go up anyway. so no worries in a boom. right now it is good stock picking that counts at a good price. cleanspark is an example of less volatile, quick recovery on a down day and this becomes effective. yep. a bit boring but it can work.

because you invested in it thicko. i on the other hand am on a nice profit in cleanspark as it stands. you learning anything yet. just having a bit fun with you.

arb share price would of ended up down today anyway. it is clearly more down because of this news. yep . plenty of miners to choose. arb just has the advantage of being on the british stockmarket.

chaebol. you know as well as i do he got lucky. 80 percent of them go wrong. all money lost or even those that survive they open up 70 percent down. arb was the lucky one. got the money , transforming news and shares went up 100 percent in a day. if he keeps doing that he will come a cropper. it is brave but also stupid which poorinvester is. he got lucky. that is all.

in my book cleanspark looks great. recovering on down days to break even and less volatile than other miners. liking it.

so he bought near to the top. not good. a couple of things. normally i would say no chance of him getting his money back. most stocks do not recover. it is why i bang on about trading. however there is a chance with arb. only because of the potential of bitcoin over the next 30 months. so averaging down if he can will be his best bet and then wait. an example yet again of people being bullish all the time.. it is what i have banging on about today.
