Angus Energy Plc (AIM:ANGS), a leading UK conventional oil and gas production and development company, announces that it has submitted an application for an extended well test at Balcombe to the UK Oil and Gas Authority (the "OGA") in addition to an HSE ("Health and Safety Executive") Notification under the BSOR 95, Reg. 6.

The operation at Balcombe is planned to remove all remaining wellbore and drilling fluids from said well and leave the well ready for extended long term production prior to submitting a Field Development Plan to the OGA and agreeing such with the local planning authority. It will also allow the utilization of the current well testing package from Brockham.

The local planning authority and community liaison committee shall be consulted in due course to agree a way forward. An update shall follow post consultation.

In addition, the company announces that it has been informed that Paul Vonk no longer has a notifiable interest in the Company's shares. The TR-1 as sent to the Company is set out below.

crainlarich....we get it,you don’t have to keep repeating yourself all day unless you have other motives to do so of course

Why do certain people bang on about placing shares being flipped,that is what they do in most shares after raising,the sp is held around the price they sell at and once all sold the sp recovers,standard practice,the only reason we are stuck at 10 for a while is the pizza man chucked a spanner in the works and the sp dropped before all could flip at a higher price imo.
As said it all depends on what the next news is and hopefully we will break away from the 10s for good.

maestro has done nothing but diss aaog,before this result he was saying beware this has small chance of hitting as low cos and drilling from land purely exploration etc,now they have hit he is trying to make out it’s not good news they have hit again,sad sad sad.

Wait for the sellers to sell for their profit and once they are out the price will settle and rise from there imo,once peeps can stand back and digest what we have we will get more long term investors joining.
If you are an investor and not a trader this is a no brainier now.

Great result whatever dooms gets say,we have previous finds to produce from and now we know there is more further down,yes of course we will need to fund the next drill but it’s a lot easier funding a drill when you know oil is there and maybe more further down.a hold for me

The Company is confident that there is also a further Djeno reservoir below the current drilled depth which is prognosed to be in sandstone. The Company intends to test this secondary reservoir target with well TLP-104 along with the Vandji formation. Due to poor performance of the rig throughout the Well, the Company has decided for safety reasons not to attempt to drill further with this equipment. Accordingly, the Company intends to commission a new rig to drill TLP-104.
