I am however no expert in ISO , you are correct. i just checked and i found "Following the positive test result, P2F planned to produce anti-Covid-19 surgical face masks certified to ISO 18184 ". Possibly other ISO will be worked on for differing areas. I guess the point is that there are quite a few checks etc that need to be covered and certifications before the machine can really be called fully installed.

Not sure what you are implying. The post I copied merely states that now the machine has been moved from spain to UK the testing is a bit more than most imagine . The RNS is promised once machine is ready. It is ready after it has passed quality standards. I have not made reference to 4 /5 ply. However i suspect this is being set up for 4 ply as it is closest to completion with breathability tests complete. Hence production will be quicker than if we were waiting for 5 ply. Nice of you to find a statement made in a reply to a statement where someone was saying it would take ages because the 5 ply failed. Shows you care.

Once a machine has been moved It will have to go through an IQ OQ and PQ followed by validation batches to prove its consistency. It’s not a case of plugging it in and making masks for sale.
From those validation batches masks will then be tested randomly throughout each run.
Then and only then once the validation reports are signed off is the machine good for production. In some cases those validation batches can then become commercial lots but that is not common practice. I assume that they are working under ISO9001 and possibly ISO13484

Good news will come but they have to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.

Homer, try stopping for a minute and think about it. You keep saying the same thing regardless of others explaining that our masks have a huge potential market in care homes and NHS. Yes we all know that there are places our masks will not be good enough, but there are many settings where they would be great. And of course there is the international angle. It would be refreshing if you acknowledge that. Also if you are not here for the masks why is that the main topic of your posts?

Homer, only if you think the NHS is our only option. I see the NHS as a real bonus. A while ago Mr cave intimated that there was a high level of demand, hence volz involvement. I guess we will have to wait and see.
I see the masks as a short term bonus, an opportunity to topslice and leave profit in long term, mainly for other f2p products but be interesting to see how the shaft monitoring goes too.

I think they may already have more interest than capability. Let's just wait for the machine to start producing certified masks. then interest turns to orders. In the unlikely event that we can't sell all production in January and February it is time to talk marketing. I am hopeful that we will not be complaining about marketing rather asking when the next machine is coming or why have we not licensed it.

Yes it could. It's all about the patents now. Nanoparticles are not the realm of p2f alone. Much as the masks, chillies and citrus they need to spot opportunities do the science and get the patents. Lock out the market for a few years while they monetize and on..

are even quicker than the dog and horses when you are looking for a quick result (return or loss). If folk really cant wait a week or so for a machine that should change the fortunes of this company I fear even aim is not for you, get down the bookies.

The same technology used for these masks has been being developed for some time.
Chili fertiliser. Here instead of Nano particles of copper elements required for chili nutrition are used. Nano is not new, it is the ability to make these Nano particles accessible to the end objective, in this case unlike the copper, (applied to fabric in a way that it becomes attached to the virus and kills) we are looking at micro nutrients applied in a way that chili plants can access them to grow.

My point is that Not only are there thousands of potential uses in super specific disease killers (think potato blight), but if they have the resources (£5) new products could be online quite soon, with solution taking months and the hold ups being the testing.
