Your use of the word managed fund threw me there Nettles. As an ex IFA / ex Fund Manager the terminology managed fund would be used mainly in the context of a Mutual Fund. I believe you're talking more about a managed portfolio. Certanly if you were with SJP then that would be more the case.

A SIPP is just a type of pension. Totally dependant on what you invest in. I.e you can have a managed fund within your SIPP ?

And 20% on a managed fund ??? Yeah right. Unlikely
