Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
I think it is your mistake. You show me where he actually says that. Firstly he never has said January 2021. All he said was ‘early’ 2021. And he also never said actual manufacturing but manufacturing capacity. Two very different things.
No I wouldn’t. They need an approval or EUA before they start talking about manufacturing. How can you really talk about it when the product isn’t even approved for use? It’s like making 1000 cars but you’re not sure if it will be road legal. We would all be saying whey are they making them without knowing if they can sell them! The manufacturing capacity will be there as soon as it needs to be. But stock on shelf right now - business and cash flow suicide.
Still 100% committed and all down to the science. Even without Covid this drug will be worth multiples of the current SP. Sounds like some LTH’s have lost the plot today. It’s the same story in July. We all know what happened when the results landed. Anyone also aware that Q2 hasn’t started yet?
Hold your nerve or this could be a long few weeks ahead!!
Exactly my thoughts a few weeks ago that there will now be many more sites and countries on the sprinter trial. They aren't RNSing every country as it starts and it can only be more than what we know, not less so they are making good progress.
I'll put good money on that we get a bumper RNS on 6th April.
In fact i'll put my money where my mouth is - Top up of £20k into wife's ISA.
i think it could well be used as a prophylactic for high risk people. chronic copd, severe asthma suffers etc. maybe even cancer patients receiving treatment or post transplant patients where they are on immunosuppressants. I agree tho that the US have a different system and insurance companies will look at the potential cost of a at risk patient getting covid and i read somewhere the average cost is around 100k USD per person in hospital. 2k seems cheap compared to that. Not for the masses though unless they can bottle it up in a first defence type inhaler. Then they would really have a wonder drug!!
Without Covid they would have been stuck in the COPD trial where they had to pause. Although I do think the results and benefits will be huge for COPD patients if they contract Covid. I believe they would have got through the p2 for COPD and then done a JV for p3 with a pharma looking to take it on. With regards to value it’s tricky to quantify. Probably still very similar to what it was apart from they may have released the p2 full readout for COPD which would have been a big inflection point. Based on where we are now with Covid and the trials I believe our MCap is about right. Could be £500m on anticipation but that time has passed due to the timeframes involved. I still believe this has £10+ in it by the middle of this year based on U.K. and USA trials. Come aug/sept is when I expect we’ll get the p3 readout ready for the winter wave. But let’s be honest most of us here wouldn’t have been invested if it’s wasn’t for the potential around Covid.
Either way I hope they do read it! It’s got to be early April for p2 home and I expect very similar timeframe for an interim readout form Activ2. I think we all thought this would be a quicker process but having been invested for over a year here, patience is something I’ve had to learn and when you realise this is a novel multi purpose anti viral drug and Covid is just a bonus that came along at the right time for the company to accelerate their route to market. RM has a game plan and hasn’t deviated from it one bit. I believe all for the benefit of the directors and shareholders if this is proven once again in the home setting then they have cracked it. The home trial results will tell us whether ifn works better earlier or later in the infection cycle. The scientists think the former and if that’s the case we should see better than the hospital headline readout.
Doc I agree. The time is now. Get them out ASAP and worry about the small print later! If they’re blockbuster results that will be all we need to create a news storm and pressure towards EUA.
And by the way they definitely DO read this BB. Someone I know got a ticking off for sharing pictures of their parents ‘at home’ box! ;)
Count yourself lucky. We were a lot more down than that end of last year. 180-80 in a matter of days. And that was reality not a bot messing the SP up! Have a good weekend all. I’m not getting excited about the rumour but I told the missus and she’s just added a kitchen tap worth £3k so should have kept my mouth shut!!
I knew the bills were coming and have been adding SNG in the hope it would increase in the last few weeks to pay for it! Not happened so time to cash some out. Still have 200k shares so i'm fully loaded for the news. Had to sell £50k's worth which doesn't even cover the damn kitchen!! Cant put a price on the wife's happiness and to be honest some of it is for an 8k 85" telly for the cinema room! Everyones happy! As i haven't sliced any before its probably sensible to but i hate being sensible! Average 50p.
The problem with being 'all in' is when you have large bills to pay (Mrs W's very expensive new kitchen!) you have to sell some of the crown jewels. Trying to hold on to the rest but she's just signed up for bespoke twin walk-in wardrobes, a boot room out of vogue magazine and of course i had to add to it with a built-in study! (she can't have all the fun) So sorry if a few sells go through today. Goes against all my instincts but we move in next week to the new house so needs must! GLA
Parents just had follow up for the at home trial. They are still collecting long Covid data. Their online nurse said results next month so that is a little more specific than Q2. One of the questions was ‘have you done the washing up since?’ Dads reply: ‘I haven’t done the washing up for 40 years, I ain’t going to start now I’ve had a puff on some hamster overies!!’ Not sure it will help our data but bloody funny!
