Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I agree, a lot of upscaling and agreements will be put in place. However, without approval or an EUA I very much doubt they have manufactured ANY yet for general use. All previous manufacturing will have concentrated on the trials and specific labelling for multiple languages and countries. I expect RM had to show sizeable sale up in order to be included in Activ2 but this can be done very quietly as long as they have the raw materials (IFN) and have reserved their vials slot.
I cant see them getting too far ahead of themselves when we haven't yet got approval. £30m was allocated to manufacturing but doesn't mean they've spent the whole lot and now have it sitting in warehouses ready to go. Scale up can happen very quickly when required and I expect all contracts are in place to make this happen. But ready to go stock on shelf, i'm not sure.

Yep another 1m or so.
I have a sneaky feeling we are going to see lots more after trading buys today. The price is being brought down to accommodate. Once they release it it will find its true value. II's are all good to have on board but they do stall momentum sometimes and when they want in, MM's oblige.
Im not sure why someone hasn't tried a hostile takeover before now but i also think RM's relationship with the top Pharma's is very good and he is in contact with them all the time. That should stop any hostile takeover, and instead they can wine and dine him on Zoom and try the friendly approach. This approach obviously takes more time and you can bet your house that RM has already had partnership/TO talks with interested parties. Probably through the agency they are using to 'go through the partnership/franchise route' he talked about last time out.
Whilst it may not result in the highest price i would still prefer a clean takeover. Clarity on the situation and we can all move on and take a deep breath (of inhaled interferon if necessary!) Good investments do take time and i still feel my money is very safe in SNG (probably safer than being in an Aston Martin anyway:)
Keep the faith, exciting times ahead.
I expect the p3 will roll on straight away if p2 shows efficacy and in the mean time they will apply for an EUA (we should get an RNS for this). I doubt the p3 will be amended. We still need the drug to got through all the correct protocol in order for it to be a fully approved drug by the FDA. That is obviously where our true value is so RM wont loose sight of ensuring we sail through a successful p3 in the home and hospital environment. Then his work is done and he can wait for the phone to ring, if it isn't already!!
got to love a speeding ticket!
At least we won't get one here. Instead it will read 'We see EVERY reason why the share price has risen extraordinarily and we advise you to buy more as its still not at the moon yet!"
Let see if the US have taken note of the Activ2 press since last Friday. Are we going to see more volume this afternoon or did it all happen last friday? Surely the word is finally getting out about Synairgen across the pond.
Thanks @beforegolf/Simmo/ladders4up.
So with my £20k cash i'm not better to average up in the F&S account to 65p but to buy in the ISA?
My little brain can't compute the numbers sometimes. My ISA is already 100% SNG (100k shares) and my F&S account has just over 100k more. Accountant advised i utilised my wife's ISA!
This may sound silly but I've never quite been able to work out the maths!
So i currently average say 100k shares @50p. I want to put £20k into wife's ISA and have £20k in my fund & share account to do that. (i understand bed &isa etc and the tax benefits but bear with me.)
If i buy £20k at say £2.00 (to keep the numbers easy) I get 10k shares in wife's Isa and an average of £2.00. So if it goes to £4.00 I make £20k profit. (100%)
However, if was to buy through my F&S account and I would then have 110k shares @ an average of around 65p. If it goes to £4 = circa 600%/ (£63,000). Surely this far outweighs the tax benefits of paying 20% capital gains.
Am i seeing this wrong? Be kind ;)
A nice article from Kansas re the trial. Dr Castro is clearly a big fan. Kansas had 17k cases in a day on Thursday, currently more than the whole of the UK. They won’t struggle to fill the trial quickly. 2 weeks at most is my guess. Especially if we got a head start.
