Having been absent for quite some time (alba shares still in tact, just had family stuff to deal with) I don't quite understand whats going on! Could someone very kindly just put to me in laymans terms what is happening with alba and grrenroc? I get that the company has been split. Do we get shares in both or was I meant to buy some? is it tomorrow greenroc is listed and I'm assuming if this the case then the greenroc shares will appear in my portfolio as it was with the zinwald and erris split.

Your Erris shares should be set up for you in a standard trading account, not your ISA. You will probably need to open one with Barclays for them to put the shares in there.

Some of us will be in this for long term gains. I appreciate some of you will have concerns over the share price dropping, its never nice to see red! however I can only say from my own point of view that this share is still cheap to buy.
if you compare alba with erris gold (who divested and issued shares in zinnwald) Erris shares were sat at 8p and I dont think they have as much going for them as Alba.
However this is only my point of view. You've got to either day trade and or LTH. Either way have a plan, please dont whinge when it doesnt work. Aim is based on luck and if you havent got the money to lose you really shouldn't be invested.

I've just checked Lloyds, no movement yet on the shares I requested. I wonder how long it will be before we know?

all sorted now with Lloyds. hopefully we will be back on LSE listed as a company and people can stop moaning at us soon :)

James123 I dont understand why you have an issue with discussions on Erris? This share wouldnt be in existence without Erris. Just because you’re not invested in Erris doesnt mean you can dictate that we dont discuss it here. If you dont like the chat on Erris may I suggest you dont open the thread.

ok good. I only invested in here a couple of weeks ago, mainly due to the Huntingdons as my sister has this awful disease.
which results are they presenting next week. sorry I know i need to dyor, but with all the juggling I do sometimes I need to ask questions..... tia :)
