That should read Greatland shares, new ones, not up to 10% of company Newmonts holdings.

Whether the debt facility will be used, and the extent of it,is for the future. Without knowing what opportunities the board may be considering, it is impossible to answer.

Greatland simply ‘had’ to undertake an ASX listing. They are doing so, with sp and growth in mind.

The immediate reaction today by early traders seems to indicate punters/investors, setting the price, are not unhappy with the potential of that.

We wait to see what will happen on share availability on listing. A maximum of 2.5% of Newmont shares, I would have thought, would see a squeeze on availability. If Newmont wrap into the Greatland offering on listing,and the extent of their offering, may see less of any squeeze.

I think this time, having regard to changes, 18 - 20p may not be so far off.

But I also think, ASX listing may not immediately achieve what many suggest - if the possibility of up to 12.5% of the company is up for grabs as potentially offered by Newmont on a share offering through Ggp with Ggp’s 2.5% maybe.

It’ll steady the ship, for sure. And Newmont will only sell for a price they deem reasonable.
