I think one must be careful about promoting too much on ASX listing, to avoid disappointment. Depends on the interest as expressed to Ggp on application following prospectus, how Ggp/Newmont react to that.

It’s best not described as a ‘raise’ Trippy, more satisfactory facilitation of a listing by way of share offering to provide ii’s with the opportunity to buy in bulk at a price. My own view is Newmont will take part in the joint offering. A guess if you like, based upon the suggestion they would have preferred cash.

If there is an offering of up to 2.5%, it will amount to price discovery, just at this time - what institutions are prepared to pay. Newmont will have an interest ( Mr. Day may have touched on it yesterday ) in the event that they decide, with Ggp consent, to sell a portion of their 10% as part of a joint offering.
