Totally true CrustyPete. As individual investors we invest into Funds that are managed by the investment companies. They often show their top ten holdings but may have investments in hundreds of smaller companies that could include HE1.

I would suggest ...

Never invest what you can't afford to lose or have sleepless nights over.

Never invest more than 10% of total investments in any single AIM stock (20% FTSE 250)

Keep some cash available to average down on a dip opportunity and don't be afraid to top-slice on a spike.

Use ISA/SIPP to reduce tax in case you get lucky.

Engage with other investors but watch out for unscrupulous day-traders and those with hidden agendas.

Watch the SP but do not focus purely on it. Try to see through the background noise and understand the external factors.
