With results day only a week away could now be a good time to buy in the run up ?
Who knows.
Perhaps board members can help here with a question. 888 have stated they will be funding £500m of the WHI Intl purchase through a capital raise by issuing new equity. Does this mean investors may as well wait to buy the new shares at a discount to current market value?
Most shares going down at the moment? Check out Darktrace my friend…
Naked Trader has updated for the first time in a while Yesterday (15th). Poor chap sounds like his hip op was a bit of an ordeal, wishing him a speedy and full recovery. Always positive when he buys in and in the case of Avast he has: “I bought some Avast (AVST) the web security company. It's in a growth area still and profits are going nicely. If forecasts are right there is more to come. It doesn't look overly expensive.”
Agree with JL. The key point here being: “ The order book at a given date is just that,
orders completed after that date deplete the order book - new orders enhance it.”
Good article in the Times. Expect some more takeover activity in the future: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/im-here-to-track-down-the-bad-guys-says-avasts-ondrej-vlcek-6jrwgwpqf

Fook me dude, just be pleased it’s going up!!
Anyone’s guess sir. If it does what it usually does there will be profit taking around 220p and we will go below the £2 yard line once again. If not then maybe we will see a re-rate?!
Tier 1 announced. Churchill Downs :)
Looking a bit of a bloodbath tomorrow. Keep your early positions but anything around the $20 mark may need to be cut lose until this stabilises. Could be teens again but there presents opportunity.
If head and shoulders is right (in the chart), then I see Buying opportunity again Late teens. And if it happens, Sit back and believe in Dermot.
Ditto. Will add on any weakness sub 200p.
Here’s the excerpt :
I picked up a bunch of Kape. Those of you with long memories may remember I made a lot on this a while back and banked a fortune as it doubled and more for me quite quickly.
This one came up at the online seminar last week when we were screening and looking for interesting shares.
I thought when I began looking at them they might be expensive and was surprised to see despite previous rises I'd taken profits on, they weren't.
The AGM statement showed the virus INCREASED sales! It is in a sweet spot in digital privacy and I wonder whether at some point it might get eyed up by a larger rival and snapped up. It's also got a new debt facility to enable it to carry on fast growth.
One, I think for me to ignore any gyrations, relax with and keep in the isa for a good stretch.
How many did you sell Echo?
I've been a holder of Fulcrum for 18 months now. Initially buying in at 45p following a drop from the 70ps, another swipe at 35p and further swipes at 24p and 26p - For once we look to be enjoying a positive upward trend, but I don't want to jinx anything so remain cautious, increasing my stop loss ever fortnight for my 24p and 26p positions. It looks as if the involvement of the new NEDs from Bayford and Harwood is a good thing. They are going to want to maximise their investment going forward so lets ride these coat tails! If we can climb to the late 30s early 40s I will be happy and who knows, the company does have a history of paying dividends so if this were to resume a nice bonus. Tuck away in the bottom drawer for now! GLA.
Always healthy to have a red day or two after such insane rises!
Hi all. I bought into WSG today, sounds like they have a good footing in a very relevant market. What’s the general consensus? Scrolling through it’s a very busy board here, but not all commentary necessarily makes sense or is sighted on the actual company itself. Board credibility, track record, strategy, balance sheet strength, compete environment... Opinions please?
