Seems like a bit of a pointless conversation here to be honest, people would set up stop losses for all sorts of percentages.
Those who do use them, by definition probably aren’t that experienced in AIM, so wouldn't have them set that low.
Fact being, as has been stated, stop losses on AIM are a really bad idea, due to the volatile swings. This morning has been a classic example of that.
How is it a stupid comment, there was a tree shake, plenty got caught out. SP now recovering and people buying back in.
I think 99% of people who know what they're doing would say never use a top loss on AIM, sorry if you're the 1%.
My first buy was around 35p, sadly i sold that a long time ago haha. Would have around £500k profit today if i haddnt :(.
Still, been back in for quite a while and am up a decent amount now so i cant complain too much!
