Https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/GTC/contract-win-kjhkzcmd27f2bqw.html Another bit of EST news, surprised they didn't RNS this themselves as well. GTC contract win for work on the porphyry side now as well.
Gets a few details wrong and flat out lies about a few things. 1) JORC is for the OPEN PIT only. I've seen his comments on the EST telegram group when he was challenged on this and clearly he's not just made a genuine mistake with the details. 2) The BHP grant is $500k not GBP. He says they're drilling with the grant money. Alex clarified this explicitly on the presentation that there is no drilling at this stage. Also, he alleges that BHP are providing further investment. Unless he's a BHP insider, there's no guarantee they will and how many of the previous Xplor cohort got additional funding? 3) He lost me completely on spending the placing money to get cashflow soon. They still need to do the scoping study/PFS, it's a quick route to production but he seems to be over-egging it deliberately.

Placing jitters helped a few out to be able to buy. Simple fact is they raised last October to cover this year's drilling/field work. There's money from warrants if this goes high enough for them to convert and Verkhuba deal will give them plenty to kick on with. Alex knows how to get maximum value out of every quid spent.
Reads well. Licences rationalised. JORC imminent. Field season will be action packed (other VMS targets to be drilled, Verkhuba too). Interesting to see if BHP follow up with further investment. Real spread seems to be 3.2p-3.4p. At least they're offering buy quotes within the spread now.
Think we get a small bump up given drilling showed thicker intersections. Key will be commentary around it like potential NPVs and any data room update. One offer in already seems to be the stalking horse. Could be a nice little beauty parade. Who's playing Cilla Black?
924k from 10th looks like a sell. But good to see it was absorbed without killing the price. Expect sideways/retrace until final results. Expect good forward guidance and bullish going concern statement (no need in short term for funding, confident of JVs/Verkhuba deal etc), then the JORC.
Found this link off X, Alex spoke at a State Department talk on Kazakhstan and critical minerals. https://www.state.gov/critical-minerals-and-mining-equipment-in-kazakhstan/
I said this about the copper last August, it was never a REE to copper pivot. "Copper has always been the main asset. Seems he wanted to avoid a high risk binary play so had gold and then REE licences. In interviews last year he kept saying optionality. This year he's said good was ready to drill first. In other interviews and RNS he's mentioned involving VMS experts and on LinkedIn they've had another one come in for a field visit. This is the jewel in the crown, always has been, they've got a JORC estimate before any major drill so not a Greenfield like the gold was. Market looks at it like a crap shoot when it's had the most time and attention devoted to it."
Were you the tool calling this a lifestyle company? When the CEO took a pay cut, participated in every raise and lives in country? Which orifice were you speaking from when making those defamatory comments? Not sure what kind of idiot buys a share in one tranche instead of scaling in. Quite arrogant when even the best investors recommend cost averaging as you can never predict the bottom. But you obviously have psychic powers and don't take accountability for your mistakes.
From 10 January 2022 "East Star, the Kazakhstan-focused gold and copper explorer". Rare earth was in May. Hence from the "get go" gold and copper were the main focus as they acquired those licences pre RTO. Hope this helps.
