The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Trading 212 - no trading fees and slightly higher spread but not that big a difference. Saves me a fortune compared to HL. They are just rolling out ISA transfers as well so I will be transferring as soon as I can
Did this really fall 10% at one point yesterday!?
Amazing. I hope nobody got mugged into selling...
Not my experience!
My main holding is with HL however I have been buying in another account with Trading 212 (commission free). 212 is normally slow for SLP at the best of times but I left an order for a top up all day Friday and then again all day today and it still hasn't gone through. So I am trying to buy but I can't!
I just remortgaged at less than 1%
I should have borrowed more and bought a shed load of these! Bonkers.
Haven't posted for a while as I sold 2/3 of my holding on the announcement of bad news last year. Having been through similar before with Centamin, I wasn't going to see all my profits evaporate again.
Anyway, I forget why they were so low now but I remember jumping at the chance to buy in the 80p range in 2019. 2021 is something of a write off in my opinion but the fact that it is still over 100p is encouraging. A buy at this level should be good value but I am not expecting any decent SP appreciation just yet...
I managed to buy 1.77 shares at 801.8
Don’t get it but I have taken advantage of the drop to add a few.
I use their trading and isa accounts (never touch cfd!)
I find it pretty good for liquid stocks (like tullow) but not so good for aim and illiquids. the advantage of course is that you can buy as little or as much as you like with no trading fees (stamp duty of course). I used to use HL but £11.95 to buy and sell is a joke .
Agree! I would say I was angry not to be offered the chance to buy at 200 as well but instead I bought at 197.5!
I see capex will increase.
Sorry, I should probably know this but is the capex included in the AISC or is it separate?
If it is separate, is it deducted before royalties and profit share?
I'm just trying to work out what future profits will look like and whether dividend will be paid out from FCF or will be partially covered by cash in the bank?
Still not much about the licenses and West Africa
Quite a wild ride today!
A somewhat muted reaction so far! I thought the SP would be up a fair amount. Quite happy to have bought more at this price.
Ooo. A Dividend. Nice! and increased guidance for next year
I think I'll buy some more...
Gosh. more people in the 212 club!
I guess some profits have been moved into bombed out stocks. I hope it's short term and when people realise there' still a mountain of debt and more money printing on the way, some of the PMs will recover. Still, I'm not sure why Fres is this weak but Hoc seems to be holding up reasonably well.
I have been buying small amounts in drips since 130 ish to replace what I sold higher up but this is now approx 50% down in a matter of weeks and back to where it was a year ago! I wonder if £1 is on the cards again :-(
I'd be buying here if I didn't already hold a stack.
Indeed, very good to see civil, reasonable and informed discussion on this board. The CEY board has (temporarily?) been flooded with rampers, derampers and traders. Very sad.
Hopefully the share price can stay this low for longer... I am trying to buy as many as possible!
Tiger, are you invested here? I read your posts on Centamin and Sylvania with interest :-)
