Sharedealer, how much money did you lose on your 2,000,000 shares??
Please correct me if I'm wrong. Gilby's previous CBM company was sold for over a $billion AUD purely on what was in the ground, before any gas/power was ever connected to any grid.
Nor a 100k share tranche seller
So Q3 has been and gone and no further update re gas flows nor Mamba drilling... so Tlou are already behind schedule in relation to the very first item on the 'forward plan' timetable they put out over a month ago.. not boding well for the rest of their timetable......
LTH here. Had a million shares at 1p before things went tits up. This company always had potential. Surprising that no new holders have even mentioned the gas play here, I advise to research it... So exciting to know we have a new major shareholder with endlessly deep pockets! He dwarfs the Chinese holders! Managed to get my average down to around .28 of a penny. A little jealous of new holders! but am happy to have been able to pull back my losses. I remember hearing that Panoro, another stake holder in Aje (around 7% I think) were looking for an exit. Perhaps this could be a potential move for our new company (and our new shareholder) to get our hands on next to up our stake. Anyway, best of luck all, this is going to be fun
Agreed also. In fact I think it's never been a better time to be in. All the hard infrastructural work is done. Sentiment is low due to Mozambique uncertainty and trade finance taking longer than anticipated. As a result we have a gift of an entry price, and Q3 update due next week with the addition of new, high margin, veneer processing since July. Any additional news re trade finance and we're off
This is only the start of it. Q3 report will be very interesting with the addition of veneer production having started in July. And with many multiples of exclusive agreements with timber producers, any announcement re timber trade finance and this becomes a different animal altogether
Yet another insightful post from sharedeal1 . . .
There are no more pref shares openly available, so he must have bought them from an existing pref share holder. The last batch of pref shares he bought were at $350 per share (cost). Notice he paid $415.28 per pref share this time - nearly a 20% increase . . .
That doesn’t explain why Pelham would sell Byworth 9M shares from his own stake.. perhaps it was to pay for more pref shares..? Perhaps any buyout by management will include Pelham, Byworth, Collins AND Scolaro acting in concert... I wonder how much of the company they own between themselves already..?
Eh, there are 329m shares in total - Byworth has around 14m
With the recent MOU between Moz and China, and the intention of the Chinese to construct a timber processing park in Moz.. I wonder what makes more sense.. for the Chinese to construct a new timber processing park from scratch or.. perhaps.. to buy a recently built, state of the art timber processing factory, along with, say, over 300,000 hectares of concessions along with approved sustainable processing management plans of it's own timber to process... I wonder where they might find one..?

Sounds like good news for Obtala... http://clubofmozambique.com/news/mou-to-combat-illegal-logging-signed-china-to-establish-a-timber-industrial-park-in-mozambique/
Q2 results and 2017 FY results due any day now. To say I'm looking forward to these is an extreme understatement.
Who's the special person who came up with 18p??!! Management took over 14,000 preference shares at $350 a pop worth over $5 million, only convertible to ordinary shares at 20p!! This is in addition to other monies raised at 20p... I very much doubt they plan on exiting with a 10% loss...
From the last quarterly update.... “I look forward to appraising you of our full results for the year ended 31 December 2017, including a step-change in revenues, well in advance of providing our Q2 update."
... not realising just how valuable their shares are. Still a total gift at this price
