expecting more as we head towards the end of 2018 - sorry

Hi everyone, have not posted for a while, but always try and keep up to date with posts and opinions. Just watched vid, read RNS, must admit am hugely disappointed. I though we wouldn't need a placing at this stage/timeframe and also was expecting as we head towards the end of 2018.I don't think i will be dipping into this placing, i could do with getting my average down but just haven't the funds to keep topping up.Im locked in now pricewise until Hugh and his gang can sort the price out.Good luck to all investors, especially long termers.Once again fingers crossed going into ANOTHER year something happens to kickstart a upward trend.Hopefully this time next year the next few weeks pricing will be long forgotten.GLA

Just catching up with latest events...extremely frustrating and disappointing feeling this morning. For the first time am thinking that I might need to just take the loss and jump ship.Hugh and his team have created a huge mountain to climb now, with the last few years promised land of Ireland and Wressle. In reality these are not going anywhere near as hoped for,and given the complexity in sorting these out, am feeling more rejected than ever with how it is going.Ireland has not so far produced the avalanche of companies banging on Hughs door,desperate to be in.If it has then I'm missing something as it's all gone way to quiet on that front.Wressle is becoming very problematic for what looks like unnecessary action needed to get going. How long is this going to go on.Good luck to everyone but as of the 5th January my positive attitude towards Hugh and the team is now waning.

Certainly a passionate board PVR.It needs to come soon RNS otherwise pistol at dawn I think with some posters.Huge for us as well if it goes well.

Let's hope he doesn't come back to Aim.We can't all be wrong.This was a good prospect a few years ago with a good chance of success.We were all told the same thing,that's why we all got involved.Somewhere along the line things just started to get mismanaged.To me this is a serious missed opportunity in that region.Can't believe I've lost so much,especially under these circumstances.

I think for us chaps this is just planting the seed that it's all over.How are they going to raise funds.This to me is just giving us a time frame as to the finish.Can't believe that I have turned so so bitter towards kea considering how enthusiastic I was a few years ago.There is very little as a forward plan to me in the rns.Just a case of seeing if they can getting backing from any friends left.So much to offer several years ago.This had so much potential.What a wasted opportunity.Guess we will never know where all the money/investment went.Really really enjoyed this board though over the last few years.There has been some brilliant comments regarding research and possibilities.I often think that sometimes the real supporters/private investors should be in control of some companies,especially this one.The research/time that has been spent on various topics is quite staggering.Enjoyed it all just a shame it nearly done.

Totally agree with rongo. .....oil prices or even the sector had really nothing to do with kea.I obviously have let myself down with kea.Did a lot of research,probably about 5-6 weeks of digging around looking at everything that had history and future information connected to kea.Jumped in and even topped up on various occasions.Why is there no one to pull them up.Let myself down big style here.Just goes to show,don't believe the hype or even expectations.

Da-gee,what do you think of this mess we are in.Cant believe they can get away like this.There must be some regulation for their actions.

Absolutely shocking

You often hear that the private investors only own a fraction of companies.The bulk of the company is with the institutional investors.Yet then you hear especially in the oil sector that the institutional investors are not there now,either into another sector or waiting or just totally not bothered about it at all.So why do the private investors get totally overlooked as the backbone of these companies.Traded quite a bit on the ftse 100 and 250 but AIM is a totally different beast.The lack of respect for shareholders to me,in my opinion,is a disgrace.You look at companies who you want to invest in,try and be on the path to a better outlook and want them to succeed.Yet time and time again it becomes apparent that they really aren't bothered.Kea Petroleum,for a new investor of only 2-3 years, is laughable.I've certainly learnt the hard way.Would put GLA but really,I think we all know what we have here.

I wish there was a way for these directors to be held accountable.How can investments and share dealing be allowed like what has unfolded with this company. No wonder share dealing is shaddy.

Thought everyone had stepped down anyway.Probably nothing left anyway for a payoff.Who will be next.......

Just watching "all changed at longleat" on the beeb,channel 1,and who walks in.The main man himself.....Mr IRGS.Sure it was him around 40 mins in.Thought he was hiding down under.Bet he didnt mention KEA.Anyone heard any about any arrests yet.

Agree with you on my friend that strategically he lost the plot.Just to complacent on planning the forward path of Kea.Amazing potential in New Zealand totally misguided .

Well done MIKEYGIT,can't understand why we haven't had an RNS just to let us shareholders know what is going on.Crazy situation going on here.If that's it, let's have a confirmation and we can all move on and sleep better,if that's at all possible with the loses incurred here.Hope u get a reply.They could be on holiday though.

RIP kea petroleum or should I say shareholder value.Oil/gas is the the master of teaching u the very meaning of risk vs reward.GLA to shareholders trying other companies.My mission now is to try and avoid this sort of shambles of a company.And what a shame that for all the highs IRGS had with rift and his pharmaceutical days that his probably final swansong/finish with a bang project has unfolded like this.Over confident has cost us dearly.
