The figures are valid however it is the value of the asset on the open market so not theoretical at all since the UKOG stock is so liquid, which was one of the major positives of the deal.

It is worth what the market says it's worth.

Current UKOG SP = 2.425 Current value of solo's shares = £5.7 million cost to buy = £4.5 million current profit on top of the 45% already made = £1.2 million

Well I think that was the point, no one was buying solo for Horse Hill, they were all buying UKOG, UKOG price more than doubled in the last few months, solo's went down, even before the placing. SOLO are now set to benefit from that market sentiment and buying at UKOG.

Joe, solo have held the 9.75% of HH and it has done nothing for the share price.

They made a profit on the deal and have already made almost a million since the deal based on the UKOG SP. I think it was a very smart move myself and hence the Malcy comments.

A lot will of course depend on what they do with those 234,042,221 UKOG shares but today the £4.5 million is worth about £5.4 million at current prices.

Solo has announced the disposal of its interest in Horse Hill developments for £4.5m in cash and buying a 4.2% interest in UKOG. This deal, whilst maintaining the potential upside in the project gives Solo considerably more scope and books them a significant profit at a time of corporate restructuring, a canny deal if ever I saw one.
