Morning Aimster, I was pretty clear with the BOD that the reason I invested here was for Ruvuma and it is the only project that is already discovered and appraised and has a huge potential upside.
Do I think green projects are the way to go for the future, yes. Am I excited about the ROI they have detailed, no. So at this stage I continue to count the bird in the hand (Ruvuma + Helium-1) and wait to see what comes out of the bush

Exactly BD, it's all about the CH1 drill, the biggest drill this company has ever seen with both appraisal and exploration across two geological stacked targets, 763 BCF 2C appraisal + the additional 1TCF Jurassic and then the 3rd factor the oil they have been following west and up dip since the Tullow JV days.

Plenty of oil in the last drill cuttings which goes someway to substantiating the trap displacement up-dip theory (ref Mike Rego)

Question is for me, when to best build my holding for the drill?

I think their position is that they will do nothing till the tax dispute is resolved, although in saying that I believe part of the upcoming 3D includes some of the licence area SVS.

I agree with what you say about timings and communication Aimster, but the last thing they want to do is reveal their hand with regards to the HE-1 shares they have left, they might still be dumping and you don't want to tell the market oh we still have x million shares we are going to dump, please don't tank now we told you.

Happy to wait and see what's left post drilling once Ruvuma 21 is fully funded.

Sorry bread making, so busy. But yes depending on CH1 and the pipelines etc that is where the potential volume is for the 140 million scuffs in the last published development plan, I don't see them needing that amount of demand domestically anytime soon.

Well according to the guy that posted the tweet, they intend to piggy back and build the gas pipeline alongside. Still to be confirmed officially of course.

They Government have spent loads on infrastructure, gas plants, huge pipelines, currently the capacity they have in infrastructure far exceeds demand with more gas processing plants coming on line. The 542 kilometres from Mtwara to the capital Dar es Salaam is only filled to around 15% capacity today.

The forward domestic demand based on the Tanzanian 5 year plan looks healthy, but the real money is in the export gas pipelines. Kenya and Uganda are expected to demand around 1 BCF per day according to the TPDC V the 0.1 BCF per day demand now.

Do you mean the EPS pipeline, 35km? If so that is part of the last development plan published and is included in the EPS for domestic consumption via the Madimba gas plant that then ties into the 542 kilometres from Mtwara to the capital Dar es Salaam. Dangote and other plants are also an option for domestic gas, I remember reading the Zubairs were involved in a large fertilizer plant in Tanzania for example. Again the export pipelines to Kenya and Uganda are a seperate affair and where the big volumes are .

Oh ok, yes there were two, the main 36 inch and yes the pipeline that ties KN-1 into the Network, both built & the 3rd is the 35km pipeline required to tie in Ruvuma to the Madimba gas plant, planned after CH1 nd 25 year lic.

The export gas lines to Uganda and Kenya are new and will have a total capacity of just under 1BCF per day according to the TPDC

I think you might be confusing the 36 inch pipeline built by the Chinese that runs 542 kilometres from Mtwara (Where Ruvuma is) to Dar es Salaam and was completed in 2015 SVS?

The gas export pipeline from Tanzania to Kenya was only agreed the other week and is expected to be up and running in around 3 years. incidentally it is around the same amount of time the Full field development and the further 6 to 8 wells is estimated to take over Ruvuma.
