time to short the FTSE and DOW?

where are you seeing this flag?

Anyone trading the £/Yen? The £ has broken out of 157. Is this a sustained break out or an opportunity to short this back down?

Yes I agree tomorrow will be profit taking. The FTSE is on its way back to 4640 but it won't be a straight ride IMO. I'll look for another entry point for a long. TBH, I had planned for a long term long from 4120, the 38.2 fib level from March to May but I didn't go through with it and decided to trade the hourly cycles. Oh well... I regret the short but I had too many long positions and its good to diversify.

ouch indeed. I set my stop at 4525.

on a shorter term, that is a rising wedge forming for the FTSE with the top at about 4500. Now the FTSE has been rising for 9 days now. I have a heavy short at 4500. Anyone else have a piece of this. The literature I have found suggests that the rising wedge is a continuation pattern but the failure to break out of 4500 convincingly is surely the sign of a quick retrace. Thoughts?
