a link on here (cant find it now or remember which one it was) confirms what s green is saying... SEYE operates at 30 frames per second whereas SEE is 60 frames per second. the load on the processor increases expotentially so for SEYE to increase to 60FPS is not simple as the processing power required to drive it is too much. This is the reason why they are moving to a chip, which is a self contained processor which does all the hard work. This is the gist of it if not totally acurate... long story short... SEYE are not getting to 60FPS for several years (and their chip is not automotive grade either but that is another story)

in Februarys what car magazine is an article on the new mazda 3 which has "a driver monitor that observes your eyes for alertness and sounds a warning if it deems you to be tired to drive safely". on sale in spring.... any ideas who is in this one?

looks like see are fitted into buses at build now too, i assume they use fovio chip for this rather than guardian which takes away the production problems of the past

I wouldnt be surprised if the numbers were just going up in a linear fashion and the data was not actually derived from the trucks etc but SEE have seen how many times it has been mentioned on this board and have changed the numbers to reflect the real recorded numbers... (but still not directly derived). Wilson, are you able to produce your recordings and even a graph or barchart if your IT skills are upto it, much as Lewbo does so that there can be a better understanding of the distance covered and the events intervened.

new CFO would make sense if it was the bods decision. But james Palmer is leaving for 'personal reasons' so SEE are behind the curve and have to recruit someone.... by mid jan seems a bit quick for a quality CFO.

The stats shown show that tesla are selling lots of cars compared to their competitors but the important word in their statement is sedans. I saw the same charts (as on the link) somewhere else but i cant find it anymore but there were also charts of SUVs and total car sales etc... long story short, the sedan market is reducing and SUV market is growing. tesla have a growing share of a dying market.

i remember some discussion a while ago about see have the patent for the camera being on the steering column... i cant remember if this was ever confirmed though.
