BB, there was the Molnupiravir pill reduces the risk of hospitalization or death by 50%, that was approved 2 days ago, the Pfizer pill hasn't been approved but reduces the risk of hospitalization or death by 89% and is a new treatment and it is the reason why the markets moved like they did... death statics can now be slashed by 89%, it is a big deal... and l think recovery is going to be much faster than thought even by yesterday morning...
l think we are caught in the middle of a perfect storm of good news with the announcement of the covid pill.
...the Covid pill will reduce hospital admissions and is a medicine not a vaccine.
the news and projections given by IAG was before this covid pill announcement and l think now the projections can be brought forward with a return to a normality looking much quicker once approved.. now that the more severe symptoms for someone unvaccinated can be reduced by 89%... if the vaccine reduces symptoms by up to 90% and the covid pill can reduce symptoms of the remaining population that are unvaccinated by 89% then the populations of countries are going to be highly immunize against Covid...
Covid Pill Key takeaways:
the covid pill is intended for use soon after symptoms develop in people at high risk of severe disease.
Pfizer says it stopped trials early as the initial results were so positive.
The UK has already ordered 250,000 courses of the new Pfizer treatment, which has not yet been approved, along with another 480,000 courses of MSD's molnupiravir pill which has been approved in the UK.
Health and Social Care Secretary Sajid Javid called the results "incredible", and said the UK's medicines regulator would now assess its safety and effectiveness.
The Pfizer drug, known as a protease inhibitor, is designed to block an enzyme the virus needs in order to multiply.

...this board has become a spiralling echo chamber of illusion and vanity…
To Translate,
..the echo chamber comment was l previously directed BB, l would like BB to remember that they are my words and he is in fact the echo chamber...!!
l would just like to make this clear to BB and he should not forget the context in which they were intended... and l would particularly like to highlight the fact when he is trying to control the narrative once again...
..it is nice to remind him..!
..the echo chamber was directed at you, remember they are my words and you are the echo chamber...!!
...why don't you put a sock in it..!!
The boiling frog is a fable describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death..
GL BB, you old toad, you are being cooked alive and you don't even know it..!
BB your analysis no longer makes sense, you will be still be congratulating yourself at 320p..
