The company has 300m in treasury shares which can be used to assist with a cash offer to make an acquisition of a permitted development. In Q1 2027 the company will be generating huge margins to use on something.

If you are really sitting here thinking an acquisition isn't on the way then you're beyond help. Let's just leave a massive process plant that can generate $150m FCF pa minimum sitting there doing nothing lmao.

I'd push back slightly on not being MTL specific. Whilst the initial % loss was all gold miners, MTL is in a country which is having major problems with securing diesel. The country has announced an energy emergency. Therefore, there is a risk that diesel is rationed out and MTL might have to reduce/shut in ops. Therefore, natural that some are selling if they share the same view. I personally chose to look through this disruption. Company has access to $70m in cash and debt + Q1 cash build.

Weekend WTI up to $103. USA going into Iran, we're heading into a multi year period of high oil prices. Go back and have a look at the company's 2022 final results. They were a profitable business including all corp & G&A, that was at 122 BOPD. They're higher than that now, and going even higher in the months ahead. I see a 2-4 bagger here relatively quick.

What we need to see from Paul:

- updated FCF projections per month at $90 WTI & 145 BOPD (conservative)

- Capex cost for waterflood

- Commitment to OOR PM main out of FCF.

- Medium term view to drill fouke 4 & Allar 1 out of FCF.

Margin, not only does it become a no brainer it becomes more urgent. Costs are only going one way, and theyre moving quickly. Energy will eat margins. They need to get on with it ASAP.

Darren should draw the $30m loan facility to beef up liquidity. I wonder if they'd be able to delay the repayments to begin in Q1 27.

According to a presentation 6 months ago, the company at $65WTI would make roughly $78k per month in FCF at about 150BOPD.

The company is now making 155BOPD at $95 WTI. They've also got this OOR program going on at $75k per well which has the potential to double production of the well. They're also starting the waterflood in the Fouke area which I believe should be low capex given they already have the injector wells. At 155BOPD and these prices, they should be doing close to $150kpm in FCF. However, if they get PM up to 115 BOPD (through OOR & that's conservative) Fouke area up to 60 BOPD (via waterflood) and C1 up to 35 (OOR & Waterflood) that would be a total of 220BOPD net and at these prices that's roughly $290k a month in FCF.

Gold has dropped 17% from the highs, we've got less than 7 months of production left, and opening a new mine in a questionable location and you want the stock to be mooning. This current period is probably the most risky time for MTL. Soon as the new mine opens the stock will rerate. You need to calm down.

A whistleblower raised a complaint. They appointed a outside counsel to investigate and then the Audit committee cancelled the investigation and are conducting the investigation in-house. The Directors that resigned clearly think it should've been outside that investigated and therefore resigned. The main thing here is what do Equinox do.
