I see the Bridges and his fellow pushers have all gone off to Rip Van Winkle land where they will meet the board and discuss the next bit of pushing. The last attempt failed miserably. Getting suckers to part with their money is getting harder and harder nowadays. I blame all this education and every Tom, Dick, Harry and Josephine is on the internet these days. Very hard to pull the wool over the Newbies eyes. I wonder what plan they will come up with next. Changing the name of Connemara to Arkle didn't work too well. Still, Teeling won't give up without a fight.
Hard to believe this stuff is still going on. I suppose it will continue while there are gullible people hoping for a miracle. This is a worthless company (another placing due) run by the same people who run over a dozen similar (ie.worthless) companies from the same address. 162 Clontarf Road, Dublin, with the same phone no 01 8332833. Anybody thinking of putting money into this bottomless pit needs to do some research. The same spoofers have been pushing this for ages. They want to get the SP up so they can make a killing and scarper leaving the newbies wondering what happened. All this talk about Ghana is total rubbish. The Ghana folk want nothing to do with Clontarf or Petrel or similar.
Good Boy, Bridges. Attack anyone who tells the truth. You must be well paid for all your spoofing. It must have been hard to find someone with no shame to do that job. Its cold around 162 Clontarf Rd today. Ye must be shivering.
The locals knew the score and could do what they liked. People from further afield would get caught. One notorious gent had very busy sheds on the border. You could enter in the south and emerge in the north. Smuggling was a way of life for many living in that area. "Use the code around the border road and flash the lights at me" is a popular song around there. The Irish Govt and smugglers claim they don't want the border but both have the most to lose if there's no border.
Terrible thing to say. Could be true but you'll hurt their feelingd --- well--- maybe not. They now have two pairs of wellies, two large hardhats and a couple of shovels, one borrowed from MrsT's garden. There was talks of a company name change. How about Clontarf Credibility Company.
OK, here goes. The Free Movement (FM) of people was very unfair to the English. All the Immigrants wanted to go to England because of the Welfare system, the NHS and the English language. None wanted to go to the Baltics, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland or other poor countries. Agreeing to FM initially was a huge mistake. The English stiff upper lip came into play and the attitude was "Oh let's get on with it" However the burden was too much, hence the vote. The EU attitude was a cynical "That's their problem" The only way to deal with the cynical EU is to be equally cynical. Here's the solution, Theresa, are you listening ? Delay Article 50 for two years if possible, if not then have another vote ASAP to overturn the last result with a solemn promise to have a third vote within two years. Contest the EU elections and elect not just one Nigel Farage but twenty Nigel Farages. (NFs) The UK can use the Veto on every occasion and the NFs can make a proper nuisance of themselves for those two years. By then the EU will be damn glad to see the back of the UK and either change some rules or agree to a better withdrawal agreement. The people can then chose whichever suits at that time. As some US President said "Walk softly but carry a big stick" Sometimes English Politicians act as if they are in full control but when you drive into a cul de sac you must turn around and go back out. This debacle should show them they have a lot to learn.
The UK does not want a border between NI and the Rebublic. The Irish people don't want a border. They Irish Government are pretending they don't want a border but they don't want people from the south buying goods in the north so they play a cute game and blame the EU. The UK should simply say to the Eu "Not Our Problem -You Sort It Out". By trying to contribute to sort out this particular part of the problem the UK are letting the Irish Govt off the hook. An example of the crookedness. A few decades ago a busload of folk (mostly Ladies) from my town went on a pilgrimage to Lough Derg in Co Donegal (South) After 3 days on bread and water and going around on bare feet it was time to go home. They traveled back through Co Tyrone (NI) where they came on a market. Most of the Women bought dozens of pounds of butter (originated in the South) which was about half the Republic price. When the bus arrived at the border to enter the Irish Republic the Irish Customs took the butter from the Women as they said the correct duty was not paid. I told a Senior Politician about what happened. Guess what? He blamed the British. An Irish Bus, Irish Women, Irish butter and Irish customs and the Brits get blamed. The UK is a soft touch for long enough. It needs to stand up for itself. I,ll give the solution if wanted.
Brexit could have been so simple but. The English people are good, fine, decent, honourable people. They are articulate and well educated and keen do do good. They also have a small touch of impatience, and can appear to be arrogant. The reality is they are quite innocent, they see things in black and white and because of their goodness it's easy to take advantage of them and that is what happened with the EU. I,m Irish. Please don't shoot. If there is a response I will explain all.
