I am pretty confident the top dogs would have known about this from the start, infact no doubt allowed it......which is basically fraud, however it will be a game of pass the buck and it was the old finance directors fault, I am sure that as long as it does not escolate they will get away with it this time with a fine and a wrap across the nuckles...

To add to my last comment we have a P/E of 7.4 ????? although Easyjet are a different type of airline there P/E is 15.4 ??? and the industry average is well above 12.5 some way to go with the SP dont you think? VERY STRONG BUY

That was a great RNS again showing that IAG can improve in these areas....the market will soon value this company correctly IMO �8.30 - �9.25... just look at the fundamentals then take a look at the profit if that doesnt "tickle you fancy" take a look at the cash in the bank.......

I must say firstly I detest Tom Winnfrith....However occasionaly he does get it right, I stand by my recent comments in that I feel this will not escolate or at least if it does not by much. The BOD do have to now build trust with shareholders and a couple of large Director buys would go some way.....whatever the outcome there is no getting away from the fact that at the very least this is dissapointing, I still feel this company has a very bright future and I will continue holding unless things take a turn.

This company has nothing.....No money and no business.....someone tell me why I should invest....

That would be my concern....as that then would be fraud, but as you say its relatively a small ammount spread over that time period and would have little affect on the companies finances, so as long as we get some clarity that basically states yesterdays RNS is the full extent of the problem we should be fine.

I have read that RNS over and over and am convinced that as long as there is no major escolation from that statement I dont see a problem......It is a trading debt, what customers owed them that has not been accounted for correctly no doubt the company gaining an advantage for tax purposes.

Circa 20M wiped of the M\C for a 3.3M problem? like I said I do realise the problem could escolate and that figure may become much more but if it does not....?

Ive read the RNS a few times and under normal circumstances you would probably expect another couple of RNSs elevating the problem (and that may still happen) but a couple of things stand out 1. The board itself have un-covered the problem. 2. They have put a figure of 3.3M on it at the moment. Now if that stands this could be a bit of a black swan event and I have been buying at circa �1.14....However I do realise its a risk because if things do unfold and are found to be much worse then yes this will dip heavily........I am prepared to take that risk as like I said that RNS is a little unusual to the norm for this type of incident.....Good Luck All...

oh well I have taken this as a buying opportunity.....over 20% drop is over done I THINK.....we shall see...

thats not true....but i would expect in VODs case if it happens it will fall to that price.....but its a big if....

Telecoms globally have been taking a kicking... still a risk but feel this is a buying situation...
