where did they get this pressure info from? please don`t tell me form past data.please don`t say it is from niko 1.the reality is that these pressures change as you produce from the well/wells.you can actually see that is true from the above statement.the bit where whi state " after Eldari B has been produced sufficiently to lower its pressure"
so please someone explain to me where these pressure figures come from? as I stated .earlier I don`t like being the last to know.

THE UGLY. whi stated this " We have assumed exceptionally steep initial declines to forecast production from the Eldari A horizon (based on 8.75 years of actual production data from the Dino-2 well specifically from Zone 9 "i don`t like the words "exceptionally steep declines".but yes they do say "assumed".in previous notes the language has not been so dramatic.prehaps they know more than we do.that for me is the ugly bit.pi`s always kept out of the loop.
THE BAD. the company stated that the three zones 9,14 and 15 would be flowed together and that testing would be 60-90 days.obviously this is going to be different at t39.there is no getting away from the fact that t45 has now been approx. 130 days and dino 100 days.THE BAD being if you don`t communicate with people after what has gone on in the past,they are going to assume the worst.

THE GOOD whi note that the pay zone in 19 according to nsa was 13m but it is actually is 21m and to be fair we have perfed the whole 21m,rahter than 3 or 6m.also the fact that not only does the payzone increase tell us there is more oil we also now can believe that the recoverable amount is due a massive increase if a new cpr is done.
whilst some of my posts seem to some to be on the negative side i can assure you that i want frr to be a success just as much as the rose tinted glasses brigade.i just wish that the company would be more upfront about what is actually happening.i really don`t like having to second guess.even more i hate the fact that others appear know more than we do.i do think that maybe,just maybe we caught a decent fish with zone 19

lub.lol,i agree.the point I was making was in response to the" YA payment due this week (16th) and no mention of fundraising" part.there would be no need to mention anything.they would just issue a conversion notice on the day.

1 the money shouldn`t be a problem as the drills were already paid for and therefore any oil monies will be going straight into the bank.
2 the rig.i noted at the time that the comment on the twitter picture seemed strange"rig down 90% complete,rig move 45% complete.if the rig was going back to its storage location there would be no reason to put in the "rig move 45% complete bit.this would be totally irrelevany to frr investers
3the permit.all three wells t45,dino and t39 were supposed to drill down to zone 15.yet because they made good progress at t39 they drilled down to zone 19.this suggests that there is an amount of scope within the terms of the permits to go deeper.therefore a new permit would not be required.
as for a need to rns it,well they didn`t rns zone 19 at t39 until after they had drilled it..

timster.i have to say that I partially agree with you.i don`t think that dino or t45are as good as we hoped.that said,if they are each producing in the region of 150bopd then that would still be considered commercial and would also still give the ROI within the 12 months guideline.listening to zaza on the podcast his full concentration was on zone 19 and he stated that future wells would target zone 19.it is just possible that we have not had the flow rates(120 days+ now)because they may have decided to go back and deepen t45 and dino.

In todays mail on sunday there is an article about jkx oil and gas. It states that a ukrainian has quietly become the second largest shareholder with 20% and the BOD are now trying to find out the how and why.
Could this happen at FRR - a few facts looked at from a different angle.
Rumour failed takeover @3p or are they still trying using different tactics.
Zaza uses primary bid for placing direct to public rather than to institutions who might at some point in the future sell onto a stake builder.
YA shares direct to market rather than placed with an institution
Share tipping service find out about arbitration - could they have been fed the information by someone wanting to build a large low cost stake.
Suddenly YA and placings stop. Could it be that the BOD realize they are making a rod for their own back as it were?
Shareholder information starts to be restricted is this to make it more difficult for someone to build a stake.
Zaza in podcast about BOD percentage of shares is a little shaken and just gives approx percentages is this because he does not want to give information to possible stake builders.
A number of posters have commented on unusual share transactions
slowly reducing number of shares in free float - possible computerized buy programe buying small amounts each day so as not to effect the price.
Number of shorters - some posters think it almost like a vendetta - is it really to keep the share price low for someone building a stake.
Lets face it anybody with a large stake bought at these low prices is eventually on way or another going to make a big profit given the gas potential , oil and now T39.

OTB.close,but no cigar.LOL.your figures are correct to a point.only thing wrong is that you did the £/$ conversion the wrong way round.YA`s 10 million shares were converted at 0.42,so a bonus of approx.$54,600.to be fair the other $191,000 was part of the original deal(10% discount to sp).so therefore ya gained approx. $54,600 dollars for the new agreement.i did state at the time that as long as we use the facility to pay in cash it is not a bad deal.if however we end up with ya converting shares because we don`t have the cash then it is a waste of 10 million shares.as for the payments,yes we have only made 1 payment.

noloss.i don`t just comment on others opinions.i have given my opinion very clearly.to be clear,i am still invested.i still see a positive case for frr.just don`t see any point in dressing up bad news or pretending that all is going to plan.i try to view it from a neutral stance.ie if I was looking to invest.the last couple of months has proven how difficult an investment decision frr is.on one hand we have the bad news on the gas side.on the other front we have the oil and some gas at taribani.the fact is that we don`t know what is happening at any of the three wells at taribani.i suspect that flow rates have declined,but I also suspect that they have gone back to drill to zone 19.the reason I am still invested is because I believe there is a possibility of a very positive outcome at taribani.

need to get real about the situation.do you really think that something is going on with the gas?time to get a grip on reality.zaza would be enthusiastically shouting about it if there was a case for it.we are,where we are.we need the oil to come good,simple as that.zaza`s comments in both podcasts were fully concentrated on zone 19 so don`t expect any significant results from t45 and dino2.i suspect that we haven`t heard on either of them for a reason.i think that the results from both will be ok,but nothing more than that.i think that the results have been delayed so that they can get some decent numbers from zone 19 at t39 and put them in the same rns.they will probably also state that due to the success of zone 19 they are going to go back to dino2 and t45 and drill further.i also suspect that the ii funding niko 1 will be asked to fund further drilling at dino2 and t45.to be fair if the results are good at 39 it would be a no brainer for the ii to put a little extra funding in for a % of dino and t45.

loup.relly? don`t be silly.they switch the pumps off at 15.30 on a Friday to give them a rest and then restart them on Monday at 7 am.except for bank holidays when they switch them back on on Tuesday at 7 am.then of course you have xmas and easter plus the pumps have to have their holiday entitlement.therefore including holidays and weekends the pumps are switched off for approx. 100 days a year.no point in FRR trying to buck the trend of they would have the oil pump union on their case anyway whats the point of producing for an extra 100 days at say 250 bopd it only equates to around £5M per well.LOL

coggy.LOL.having said that,maybe its not scotch mist.you seem to forget that along with the 200 or so bopd the BOD have been delivering promises,xmas presents and value creation for shareholders.hmm,let me think about those last few things? perhaps that's where you got the scotch mist idea from.LOL

madp.i said the other day that I think the whole podcast was pretty much focused on zone 19.i have my suspicions that the flows from 14 and 15 have dropped off.i also suspect that this is why they drilled deeper in t39.that said,it looks as if they may have hit upon a decent zone.i would not be surprised if the rig (assuming it is available) has gone back to dino or t45.
As for the choke.thats a gamble.i think they may well wait for three wells to be in zone 19 and then take a punt on opening the choke.that way they will still be producing from the other 2.wouldn`t want to do it now as a failure would create a bit of a panic.
