timster.it`s not strande really.happens all the time.a lot of it is to do with the mcap and traders.a small mcap at rmp this morning of just £4million.the news is considered fresh and the traders jump in and extrapolate the numbers,suggesting tht "X" million barrels at $70 a barrel = "x" billion dollars.a load of tosh.they don`t mention the chance of success at 25-30%,but that's because they won`t be "invested" tomorrow,never mind next year.later today they will bale out and the sp will fall,tomorrow will be probs one of the biggest fallers and people will be locked in.
as for us,well we do have some real facts,we know for certain that we have drilled three wells and we know for certain that we are producing.we have probably spent over $15 million in the last 6 months or so.we should start to see a return on that investment very shortly.at the very least we know there is oil and we know that it is being produced,we also have funding for the next drill.just have to wait a while.would rather be in here than rmp,thats for sure.

I think they do need to rns it.it is to do with the shares in issue.if we make a payment of 265000 it would reduce the amount of pref shares in issue.this would equate to not issuing approx. 55million shares.i would think that if we have to rns every time that they convert pref shares to ord shares then the reverse would also happen.people may argue that we have already rns`s the agreement and therefore no need to declare.i would argue that the original agreement was rns`d but it was still required to rns every month when they converted.

what is my opinion on what exactly? that is the whole f...ing point.i don`t know.i have almost zero to go on.i don`t know if the extra proppant has been used,i don`t know what gas is flowing,i don`t know where the hell the company is at with UD2.it would appear though that it is now being considered "not important" by the company and some posters.perhaps you could enlighten me.

zyd.i was wondering about that myself.haven`t actually seen a dlack trade for a while.i think there has been a change whereby if the trade is at the nid-point it is blue.was looking at 88E a little while ago and the spread was 1.80-1.90 all trades at the mid-point of 1.85 showed in blue.

zib.yes,bloodbath may be a little dramatic.that said,i have only posted my comments in response to other posters suggesting that there might be a conversion of pref shares to ord shares.this to my mind would be totally unacceptable.whilst it may not lead to a bloodbath,it would certainly lead to people having doubts about zaza`s competence. making an agreement like this and paying £42k for the option,then reverting to the original option would give the market a few hints 1.that you paid extra money for an option that you didn`t take up.which is incompetence. 2.that you don`t have any money. 3 that you are more than likely going to need to raise funds through a placing or PB. for me it is simple.i want to see an rns today or Monday that states that the first payment has been made and the pref shares have reduced accordingly.i don`t think that this would make the sp rocket,but it would certainly stop the slide and possibly get us back into the 0.5`s perhaps0.6s then any new news would not be held back my the negativity surrounding dilution.

mole.i really don`t know.what I do know is that you don`t agree to pay someone approx. £42000 upfront for a change in an agreement and then not utilise the change.that would as I said,be total incompetence.

mole.the way I see it is like this.the only point of the new agreement is to stop the dilution and suppression of the sp.the only difference with this agreement is the option to pay them monthly in cash.as for your comment to tsbs "TSBS the other part is whether the shares are issued at discount "jesus we have agreed to pay them approx. £42000 for the new arrangement.we only made this public a week ago.surely if you are going to pay someone £42000 for the option then you would at least have the foresight to have the first couple of payments to hand and a plan for the further payments,otjherwise you might as well have kept the original agreement and save yourself £42000.to now revert to the original plan ans start converting preference shares to ordinary would be a clear signal of total incompetence and lead to a dramatic loss of belief/trust..

I understand what you are saying,but seriously there will be a bloodbath if that happens.to give them 10,000,000 shares and pay them $3.18m for a $2.891m debt for the new agreement and then at the very first hurdle to not pay in cash would without a doubt cancel out any trust whatsoever it zaza.you can`t make an agreement to pay somene 10.000.000 shares and 10% on top of the loan and then convert back to the fallback position at the first hurdle.that would be a total farce and a fooking disgrace.

WTF.surely the first instalment is going to be a straightforward exchange of preference shares for cash,with no discount of any kind.the company can`t come out with an rns stating that this is the preferred method and then at the very first transaction go back to a placing of shares at a discount.we have already given 10,000,000 shares for the deal and a hefty discount. IF and I think it is a big if,we do convert shares into ordinary shares there will be a bloodbath.
