RESULT OF GENERAL MEETING AND CHANGE OF NAME Kolar Gold, the AIM-quoted India-Finland gold explorer and trading exchange provider, announces that at the extraordinary general meeting of the Company held today at 4.00 p.m., the resolutions proposed were duly passed, including a resolution to approve a change of the name of the Company to Lionsgold Limited. The change of name will take effect on receipt of the change of name certificate from the Guernsey Registry, which is expected to be received on next Monday 24 February 2017. Dealings under the new name and the new TIDM of "LION" are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 27 February 2017. What I also like,is that the company will be apparently aggressive with investments,deals in 2017 & beyond,will not be standing still on that front to grow the company, the company will also be cash generative soon & that they are looking at other ways to raise money for investments,deals,rather than dilute shares too much. I, also notice Geomysore's assets are by far, the most superior gold land holdings in Indian & production in India soon, at its Jonnagiri asset .I also like its Gold Fintech asset,which will be cash generating very soon for KGLD & Gold assets now de risked with its Finland Gold asset. Plus it does not look like KGLD will not stop company building over coming 12 months & years.Management don't want to dilute the share account,so are looking at other financing methods for growing the next phase of building company,assets,investments etc.

Just a thought on raising cash for Gold mines ect. Rather than dilution of shares,Why not go to a streaming/royalty company,such as Canadian Sandstorm Gold or AuRico Metals and ask them for funds, in return for between 1 to 2% stream/NSR etc of gold production over life of mine.

This company is diversifying,adding asset growing fast.Basically a new company is rising.

today's small trade at 11,09 was a buy & Not a sell. It was a nice amount of shares for a brilliant price.
