Providing rbs stay in profit If £50,000 was invested in rbs the dividend would aprox be £ 3,000 which is not a bad addition to your pension, It would take a much bigger pension pot to provide the same amount, what do you think jimjam
Better hope labour don't get voted in,
I made a bad call this time jimjam
should have waited till today but thought there would be a rise due to election being clarified,
oh well I think rbs sp is worth much more,
Does anyone know what final divi is likely to be please
Bought back in jimjam, just hope I have done the right thing, sold at 229 bought back at 219
I had high hopes for rbs to do very well but sp ruined due to outside circumstances and not the right time to buy back in yet,
I am also out due to politicians and uncertainty all shares come down especially bank shares,
Can see bank shares dropping quite a bit further very soon,
I'm glad I am not asking a politician to organise a pee up in a brewery,
Yes jimjam but you can be forgiven as when the sp is rising it does make you optimistic but a decent rise like up to 248 is often followed by a fall and vice versa,
Not too bad so far,
Operating loss due to ppi,
this is a one off, sp may drop in early trading but should recover,
Yes I was holding back jimjam,
Hope the 3rd quarter goes well but have to be careful of the ppi,
Only wish I knew, that much going on but at least we are heading in the right direction,
The markets like the fact that a no deal is further away,
will we get a meaningful vote today ?
round and round in circles again
a bit nerve wracking waiting for the vote, how much is the sp likely to fall if the deal falls through,
should I sell or hold ? the sp is currently doing much better than Lloyds
It will be clouded over until everything is finalised that's how it is but hopefully in the end they will use common sense and do what is best and deal is better than no deal,
jimjam you were right again 240 plus
Bought back in jimjam but still risky,
Still problems ahead regarding the deal, both sides want a deal but neither side wants to give anything away,
I would not be surprised if it fell through for now,
Haven't bought back as yet jimjam due to uncertainty and if I miss out it is my fault but for now sitting on cash,
