Had my first visit to glorious Hartlepool last week. Walked up the beach from Seaton Carew and had chips at the harbour. Past the monkey to the open market, then bus back to SC. Lovely people and a grand day out.

One of the points in the presentation that I particularly liked was the ethical pricing of our gas to local businesses. We all wish to make a profit, but we don't have to charge top dollar to do so. Treat the Moroccans well and I'm sure it will reap benefits.

Being unfamiliar with the details of GKP's history, I looked at the charts. It was around £70 per share at the time of the post and spiked shortly afterwards. Then I see a steady decline until spring 2016 and an almost flatline around £1-2 pounds since then. Clearly share issues and possible consolidations may explain this.

Would you mind filling in a brief history of the GKP story since Dec '11 for the uninformed such as myself?
