The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
That’s roughly thirty tons per head of the worlds total population, somebody needs to get real. But more testing, more testing and more salaries well into the future.
Nothing will change in the commercial shipping world until the companies are held against a brick wall with a gun to their heads, all they want is for the profits to keep rolling in for as long as they can squeeze the lemon. That means carrying on as usual.
Strange world. Just heading into Genoa on a ferry, maybe I should go to the MSC head office and ask their opinion. Good luck all.
He’s probably been on holiday, gotta spend his salary somewhere and no doubt it will be tax deductible. His family are probably all the same colour. I just hope the staff at QFI read this forum every day, I am sure they do, wonder if they can sleep at night.
Let’s hope for a big surprise in the next few weeks. They know of shareholder frustration, the new guys on the team must know the reasons for which they were given the positions they hold and I would like to think are driven to make this happen, did they leave good jobs to join us or were they picked up off the dole, anybody know ….
The mad dog has kicked of a new European war this morning. Soon we will be scraping the barrel and fuel will be so so expensive. I hate to say it but every cloud has a silver lining and if QFI do not get a voice now, they never will.
Nothing makes sense, it’s a bl****y cartel. Trying to beat an industry that now burns 100 m barrels a day up from 90 just a short while ago as we try to save the planet. God help us. The money being wasted to create a smoke screen for the public and our children to swallow is beyond belief. QFI do not even get a look in, the money being wasted on new tech fuels that will never be economical or practical to use for many reasons is also a disgrace. I just wonder what the truth is, Jason must have his own feelings on this, wouldn’t it be great to be able to sit in a pub and have a pint or two with him and get his genuine thoughts.
Maybe they need to dangle the carrot.
Had QFI taken a small partener several years back to run the stuff at virtually no profit this would have been proven in situ and possibly set up in many more areas now, not sure what they are looking at cost wise but sometimes it is better to work with a company for no profit than try to sell at max profit. Just my opinion !!
Maybe we should now put the last couple of days behind us. Looking on the positive side I guess you could say we have put the biggest problem of the past couple of years behind us - Covid. No reason now that behind the scenes the team are progressing with MSC, UTAH cannot have been forgotten as a great deal of activity going on over there and I am sure the benefits of MSAR tech. have not been forgotten to their bottom line. Morocco should be looking, even with the new people we are dealing with, at how they can benefit from the use of MSAR tech. Our trials must still be progressing with BioMSAR and the problems the world is facing are only getting worse. Guess we need to encourage the troops. We could soon get some, if not loads of good news. Not sure what a company can be worth that has literally no income and so the SP is only worth what investors are willing to pay. It is not irrelevant for those looking for a quick profit, but for the converted does it matter, it could well be fifty times higher in just a few months, the dream realised, or if those running this company cannot pull the rabbit out of the hat, the SP could fall away to nothing. I believe the former, far too many positives, still find it hard to believe we do not as yet have a user for MSAR in whatever form, everything is in our favour, the failure to get a signature just does not make commercial sense. I would love to know what is being discussed in Morocco, Genoa etc. Time never stands still and eventually all will be resolved, one way or another……….
What we saw was a very badly thought out PR exercise that was meant to appease us and introduce Andy to the lions. It really was appalling as nothing has changed behind the scenes as regards our projects. Makes me wonder if Jason is not off somewhere sourcing another feed stock and another story (jam) to sell us, and the new guys thought they could do this on their own. Badly informed and badly presented and yes I reckon he was reading from a pr-prepared script put together by the new boy at the PR company. They should be fired, if they exist at all, Andy needs to get his act together, you cannot live forever on the I worked for Shell 20 years ago.' Line, I filled up at a shell garage 20 years ago, I do not shout about that, and he has worked with varying results at AIM companies, again not something to shout about. The QFI media setup is not what we, or potential cleints, should be subjected to.
But as said before, nothing much has changed, the SP is way down on no news and far too much negative speculation.
Well at least we have seen our NED in operation. It may just have been that QFI thought it a good move for us guys to see him, but yes no mention of MSAR

For those that need reminding, there is only a limit to what we can make from BioMSAR, how much Glycerin can be found at a sensible price, MSAR and a deal with UTAH is where the money could/will be made or using it in refinery waste. Strange it did not get a mention, maybe it is the product that will be dropped from our portfolio. Note the word OUR, we own the company, that is more than can be said for Andy.
Hmmm dump a project or two and a fundraise should keep the company going for a few more years and yes he should put some skin in the game, it would make sense.

Same here !!
Just bought the scariffier, £170.00 and emptied the bank account, so have to get the seed in around a month, hoping, otherwise may need to wait until 2023 if QFI do not come good and soon. Hope you are reading this Jason. My lawn needs a deal.
Just bought a scariffier and going to tear up the grass from my sad lawn and reseed with special, very expensive seaside seed for dry soil, need QFI to do somethhing so that I can buy the seed :-)
No news is good news !! A while back on here it was stated that if there is any news that could affect the share price, trials going wrong or right etc the board have a duty to disclose this. Correct me if I am wrong.
I feel the share price is suffering from no news fatigue and fear amongst those that are gambling what they cannot afford to lose. Tomorrow, which never comes of course, could just be the day that a big and positive announcement is made. Maybe Utah, an agreement to harvest that incredible resource of low sulpher fuel to run the worlds commercial fleets. It will be many years into the future before they can run these vessels on some new superfuel, you cannot just scrap 100,000 vessels that run on HFO, at the same time these vessels need to clean up their act, and quickly. Hey ho along comes MSAR, easy to install using the same infrastructure that is already in place and a few engine tweeks. Surely our new and illustrious team must be hunting this down.
GLA, a good time to add, a bad time to sell.
Could they not get a few gallons of MSAR/Bio into a digger in Traffalgar Square, massive news or some vessel heading up the Thames, anything would do...........

No abuse H100. Another thing that gets me is the government, quite rightly not placing a tax on BP or Shell and their massive profits of late, due in part to underinvestment in exploration etc, a government statement that these companies will be investing much of these profits in renewables to quieten down the clamour, when they are not instigating QFI technology into their processes and using their HFO waste more efficiently, could these statement be simple BS.
No
Also from what I gather our team at the top do not earn peanuts and therefore one has to assume they are not monkeys and as said before one would expect that they put in the effort to earn their salaries and justify their existences. We hear nothing much of progress, or we have predictions of success that actually appear to go nowhere fast, every man and his dog has used Covid as an excuse for failure or delay over the past two years, how Covid has allowed companies to get away with terrible service, well Covid by all accounts has not gone away but it has now reached the level of a bad flue, at this moment I have close relatives who have it, very few symptoms, I had it and at last feel my old (*) self again, but it is effectively not a mass killer. So we are as a country almost back to normal as will many more in the coming months, I would just like to hope that QFI, new team and all, now make good on their promises to us. They should all be able to fulfil their rolls, they have a good product, they obviously it seems have companies lined up that have an interest in it and have done for many many months now. Either they want to reap its benefits or not, and their are many, not just for us or Jasons ego, but for the world. Either reducing carbon is a fact or smoke and mirrors. Governments, oilers, large polluters, what is wrong and why are they ALL not knocking at the QFI door. Is it that we do not now how to publicise ourselves, how to shout from the rooftops. Why are we not featured on save the world programmes, we are not the complete answer to the problems caused by fossil fuels but if we are going to use them and will do for years to come from what I see and read and am led to believe by management, MSAR is an inexpensive, easy to substitute alternative and if those in power do not want to implement it where possible it is a disgrace.
Yep last weel was last week and it was a podcast. If they set up an open day it will be in months from now, or at least a month.
We can touch MSAR and Bio, we can smell it, we can get a feel for the guys running this you do not get from a podcast, we can perttinant questions that would not get an answer on a video conference, we can give them our ideas, maybe even inspire them, it works both ways.
There are things that can be discussed in private that would never see the light of day otherwise. This forum and the people on it know an awful lot about QFI and many hands make light work.
