I see that as always any negative comment about this stock is about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit, there is no point in reacting in a hostile manner, everyone has a right to an opinion, and we may even learn something, if we were all genius's we wouldn't be here now, we may not admit it publicly but there can't be many who aren't a little uncomfortable in private, anyone who disagrees with that only needs to go back through the posts a few months to see how the mood has changed. jfk9 summed up the reality of the situation perfectly, if there isn't very positive news very soon it will be too late to be meaningful. We may come out of this ok, maybe even a small profit but there is very little chance of this reaching the double figures again because there will be a massive rush for the door at any sign of a decent return on investment.

It's good to see some posts that are actually discussing anything to do with GGP. If the kind Infantile rubbish that I had to wade through from yesterday is allowed to continue it will destroy this board, the valuable contributors will keep their information to themselves and all decent shareholders will suffer as a consequence. One person telling others not to discuss other companies and taking over the board with mountains of abuse directed at other members does not make interesting reading.

I know there is always speculation about where the S.P. will go and the future of the P.O.G. I wouldn't personally like to say but I read the other day that one fund manager felt that $5000 by the end of the decade was likely, I also found this today, made an interesting read, sorry if anyone has already seen it.

Ashleymsn- Some questions are best left unasked, looks like that's one of them.

Someone said the other day that if it is below mid point it is shown as a sell and a buy if it is above, I don't know enough to question that, but like many others I can't see why it can't just be listed accurately as it clearly affects the SP.

I totally get your point about risk, I have been watching the Woodford thing unfold. I understand you can only do so much research but I am truly a novice and it doesn't matter what I read, if I don't understand it then the odds are stacked against me, that is why I don't have as big a holding here as I would like.

To be blunt, people who value £10k that much and have only just started playing poker don't take it to the casino.

SM Don't feel alone with your troubles, I've only been playing this game on a small scale since January and a lot of what I thought were good ideas don't look so good now.
