The reason for the drop is that it's gone ex-dividend today. The dividend is about 11.5p I think, so a small drop in reality.

I think it has to be seen as very positive! Basically, to me, it says that the CEO, and the Owner see more upside than down. More to come here I think.

I agree. As a group, esure is now starting to look a lot like Admiral, which can't be a bad thing! Although the City is focussing on the short-term cost, there is the bigger picture, which is that the medium to long term profits will be bolstered.
