LOL! You've been joining the dots for about 15 years! The only winner here is Ian Ford.
I did follow it with a question mark!
Nobody in their right mind is buying shares in this dog.
I have no intention of putting any money in Val at any price.
Cheap shot at Sareum by the way.
Obviously based on bitterness and anger!
This company seems to have gone dormant whilst a replacement (good luck with that!) is found for the current incumbent. I do wonder whether there are other plans being drawn up as the major shareholders can't be happy with the status quo.
Looks like the Thx deal was a bad idea and seems to have come to nothing. That needs clarification without further delay.
Basil, I think LAZ's posting at 11:28 far better explains the overall situation than ever I could! I'm sure you've read it.
I see that your posting has 38 likes which, IMHO, is extremely generous.
Most of the 8 points you made refer to your own investment strategy and a rehash of the consolidations and the collapse of the share price etc and what a pity it was that you never cashed in etc. Yes, we are ALL unhappy about the SP decline and have regrets about not selling etc.
In point one, you comment on why "loyal private shareholders" were not invited to the party. If you were in Tim or John's shoes, would you feel that there was such a group? If they read this and other forums they would not get a warm feeling and I doubt whether the in-box has much bonhomie in it either. They probably decided to pitch the retail offer at £300k to test the water in the knowledge that they would likely not be embarrassed by an under subscription had they initially pitched it higher (which would have been a disaster). They then instruct their agents to find a platform and WRAP was chosen. As the amount of the placing was so small, I suspect WRAP used their usual clients ,of which my broker Interactive Investor was one but yours obviously was not. By the time the BOD were advised of the unexpected over subscription, it was too late to reach out to other intermediaries.
That's my take and IMO.
Still confused about your and you're. Oh dear, oh dear 😳
Trader. Good points.
I think, certainly in my case, part of the problem is a lack of understanding as to when RF will actually stop getting issued shares .
The mention of which sends a shiver of fear down the spine.
But one day they will be gone and with them their toxic legacy on this share.
From a sentiment and logical angle, why don't the BOD pay them off and have done with them for ever?
The resultant increase in the SP would be significant and I think the majority of shareholders would subscribe to a placing to get them off our backs.
I do think part of the problem is the complexity of the arrangement which few understand. Did Tim and John grasp it or is the science a piece of cake compared to this terrible financial deal?
Trader, yes, we have to just let RF burn their way out and be gone. Nothing anyone can do.
Too much catastrophizing atm.
Basil, my understanding was that timescales were so short, only brokers on WRAP's client list were approached. It was also quite a modest placing originally. The fact that some brokers were not approached doesn't reflect on the quality of the offer and I don't think any conspiracy should be built around it.
Tim and John are are extremely clever men in their fields. Their backgrounds have probably never involved much more than normal contact with banks re personal/family finance etc.
The RF deal is very complicated as confirmed by many on here, even those with accountancy experience.
Tim and John would have looked to the experts to broker the best deal but in the murky world of this type of finance, were there conflicting interests with the ultimate effect on the company brushed under the carpet?
I remain in blissful ignorance as I neither understand the science nor the finance!
Yes, it's a pity we still have the chieving tunts with us. Take your pick as to whom I am referring.
It almost seems as if some people have a licence to print money while the rest of us supply the press, the ink and the paper in endless supply.
Isn't it about time for one. Why don't they let it follow its natural course?
Research shows that the gut and the brain work together in more ways than previously thought. Hence the "gut" feeling about something. I've always taken notice of the The Bristol Stool Chart" when reviewing my investments. Three is good and seven is bad. Sareum and Valirx have given me plenty of sevens in the past. Val still does.
"If you’ve ever “gone with your gut” to make a decision or felt “butterflies in your stomach” when nervous, you’re likely getting signals from an unexpected source: your second brain. Hidden in the walls of the digestive system, this “brain in your gut” is revolutionizing medicine’s understanding of the links between digestion, mood, health and even the way you think."
HD, thanks.

"For those who bought at 10p in the WRAP they might have to pay CGT if they're moving shares into this year's ISA as the CGT limit is now £3000 before you need to pay tax on profits"
Could you clarify? All shares bought within an ISA are totally free of CGT. The annual allowance isn't relevant. Do you mean shares bought outside the ISA then B&B'd in are liable? I bought my WRAP shares in my ISA so when they reach £4, I'm not anticipating a CGT liability.
I'm more concerned about the shocking errors in my last posting tbh but I can, at least, see my mistakes! You still don't see the difference between your and you're so I can't take you seriously. Anyway, I'm tired now 😴
flat earth ignoramus. you should of (have) listened at school you might of (have) learned something! you don't come across as a virologist, just a lunatic.
sad, surely you don't believe this conspiracy *******s? mind you, your postings are pretty hard to understand at times due to poor spelling and punctuation. not to mention extreme verbosity! inability to construct sentences is a problem many people have. you're just another victim of the system.
Quite amazing. You can spell difficult cardiac-related words, yet you don't know the difference in usage between "of" and "have" or "there" and "their"! Funny old thing the brain. Oh, and I know plenty of people whose lives were saved by the vaccine and I'm very grateful that the views of the cranks were ignored.
Rayboy. Too right, providing they build a compelling case. They should be encouraged by the vote of confidence given by the success of the WRAP retail offer.
Nobody likes share dilution but if the end result justifies it, then so be it IMO.
