The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
So true Bannor, it's tempting to say that all is forgiven when the Amapa deal finally comes off but without Amapa the BODs performance since the 2p/£2 days has been borderline criminal and their greed appears to know no bounds. Considering that as a director, their responsibility is to produce value for the shareholders they should all feel very fortunate to have jobs.
Having said all that, Amapa looks as certain as it can be until contracts are physically signed, it will be a game changer and most shareholders should finally see a profit. If LTH are prepared to hold out even longer, the JV in Sonora and the stake in Cinovec now also look like they will come good, so, do we have to concede that the plans have paid off and patience was all that was needed ? Not sure if I've got the balls to continue to hold past a reasonable profit, not unless it looks virtually impossible to screw up.
There's no doubt in my mind that the relationship with BCN went sour after the blocking/takeover debarcle and KM leaving (or pushed off of), the BCN board. My hope is that Ganfeng will not have any agenda other than what's best for the business with no bias against KDNC and if that mean bringing our 30% into play sooner then that's exactly what will happen. Here's hoping

Mac, once again you're spot on, degsie, "accept your mistake and move on" is not an option when you invested more than you should have and are still deep underwater. My fault completely but I refer back to Mac's point, the BOD have not shared in any of the LTHs pain.
I have to agree with you Bannor, I bought into the whole Lithium is the new gold dream many years back and always viewed this as a long term thing but you have summed up my feelings perfectly. More recently, the gradual errosion of our stake in MM and BCN to fund their collective lifestyles has started to grate on me to the extent that getting my money back will feel like a huge win. What I still don't get is that a 15 minute chat with KM after an AGM gave me real confidence in the man if not the company. Was I that naive or is he being swept along by the others, Strang in particular was one I really didn't trust. Fingers crossed Amapa will put things right.
MD, if companies had to issue an RNS to stop unsubstantiated rumours the KDNC BoD would have been issuing them on a daily basis a few years back i.e. every time someone mentioned the 5p party for a start, in fact, every time the fat Aussie opened his mouth !!
