HC I'd say the hype around Bitcoin is the lowest I've seen for a long time, although would agree that the valuations vs Argo are crazy. Really those gold companies should pay some dividends or start a share buyback as they seem too cheap.

Crazy stuff. So they haven't even been working on bitmain machines - and not on the live network - just their fantasy bitcoin type network. So I guess they have a few more iterations to come and will want to raise again when the bull run comes for more promising theoretical breakthroughs. This sort of thing shouldn't be allowed - essentially theft in my eyes.

CLSK has already had the snake all year with this expansion/dilution ATM. I hope they are done with the expansion for now. CLSK has better input costs for mining the BTC than Mara do so the halving is less of an issue for them.

We know Mara is looking to expand further, which is potentially a risk for price - the other thing is they could be issuing further ATM at the moment which could be holding back price. Hopefully they have a good news story soon. This week would be nice.

Mara's EH is so good they paid for it twice (by doubling shares this year).

Yeah I prefer CLSK but it often underruns - so I try and convert Mara shares into bonus CLSK shares when Mara outruns - although get it a bit wrong sometimes.

Wannabe - you've stated you're looking for a sub 6p buy in. That may or may not happen - I would have thought that time had passed personally but market can do anything. Presumably if you do buy in you'll do a 180 and suddenly HE1 is the greatest company on earth?

I agree 404, I think many of the issued shares were being sold and have made the Mara price underperform for the last few days. However their volume should mean it doesn't last a lot longer.

I think overall the RNS is good.

New director looks like the right person for the right role.

The second part seems to just be a bookkeeping exercise for existing options - of which about half are for strike prices that we'd all be very happy to see:

15/06/2021 - issue 15,500,000 options, strike of 22p

16/02/2022 - issue 6,000,000 options, strike price of 13p

Other than that nothing's changed, we're just waiting for the drilling to start.

Mara's mining numbers are hugely variable by the day, so you have to watch them over the month. Just because they mine 100 one day doesn't mean they mine the same the next day. 39 a day average this month, in line with their hash.

There's negativity and there's critical thinking. The former is always annoying, the latter is always welcome in my eyes. Most the posters on this board seem to be holders. However if a non holder comes along and just trashes the share for no reason or just repeats tired old well known risks then why even bother?

23 EH on a network of ~400EH would give a daily total around 51-52. Fees seem to be around 0.25 per block, so you could add an extra 2 BTC for that.

I'm just buying value differentials as I see them. As Mara runs first the best time to move into it is after a dip, then cycle it into something else once it's moved a good bit ahead. Timing of course is everything and never get it 100% right - however I'm up on share count around 50% so it's sort of working.

They'll be diluting more for sure - but hopefully they wait until bitcoin moves a bit first.

The bigger thing for me is that the Helios hosting agreement runs out near the end of next year, and I don't see galaxy extending it.
