Just in case Slater Investments were not aware of the pricing of these options, I emailed them with my concerns and have received a reply which says Mark Slater has been passed the message but they can't make any comment back to me

Leon had 23m at various prices at end 2021 . Same at end 2022 and 2023. ie non were exercised and none were granted.

One could argue that after 2 years of nothing , he could be expected to have some more.

But not at 1p surely . It is a travesty

He had 23million brought forward from 2023 and was awarded 16,510,000 in 2024 resulting in 39,510, 000 at year end.

Neil Reynolds, and the 2 MDs of South Africa and Zambia are shown as PDMRs not directors and were awarded circa 24m between them.

How is the cancellation of our shares traeted for tax, ie are they accorded nil value, thereby producing a loss for CGT.

If the dividends are taxable as dividends, then this could produce potentially sizeable tax liabilities for shareholders whose shares are not held in ISA's or Sipps

Read the extract I posted from the 2022 Annual report ( or take the trouble to read the Annual Report on ALL's website).
Piedmont got 9.9% in Atlantic Lithium PLC shares forUS$17m
Then they get 22.5% of CAPE COAST LITHIUM PROJECT (CCCP) for US 17M----This is NOT the same as shares in ALL
and then a further 27.5% of CAPE COAST LITHIUM PROJECT for US70M.

Cape Coast Project is a JV and Piedmont have (or rather will have when they put up the money) 50% of it. ALL have the other 50%.
Piedmont also have 9 .9% of ALL , so altogether they own 55% and ALL only 45%. That is before MIIF come in

I do think the way Herbert etc present , by referring all the time to Ewoyaa (which of course is the project ie CCCP) , can mislead as it is NOT the same as Atlantic's entitlement.

I pretty much copied all the text of the deal as it is stated in Atlantic's own reports for you.
The business Wire quote confirms Piedmont gets 50% of the projects AND also includes an offtake agreement. Also a 9.4% shareholding in ALL.

Piedmont will pay $102m for 50% of ,not just Ewoyaa , but all lithium projects owned by ALL in Ghana ie in CCPL. They will benefit from this in so far as they get 50% of the profit of the project.The offtake part of the agreement is a separate part ,it is key to Piedmont as they want certainty of feed for their US processing hub.
So there are 2 benefits to Piedmont . Actually 3 because they also have the 9.4 % shares in ALL.

If you are implying tht Piedmont do not get a 50% shareholding of the Ewoyaa project, then perhaps you should study the terms carefully.

Offtake Agreement

Piedmont and IRR have entered into a binding offtake agreement for 50% of the CCPL portfolios life of mine spodumene concentrate.

This seems to clearly show that the offtake agreement is in addition to Piedmont getting 50% of CCPL.
And why wouldn't it be? They will have paid $102m. They certainly didn't pay $102m for only an offtake agreement where they will also have to pay for the lithium at market rates.

I believe there are some shareholders who just do not understand we have given away half the project in this deal. It was inevitable in order tom raise the capex required , but even Neil Herbert has commented that in hindsight Piedmont got too good a deal

My undertanding is
The Ewoya project is owned by the Ghanaian subsidiary of ALL
Piedmont ( subject to coming up with the agreed capital of circa $70m) will own 50% of the shares in that Ghanaian subsidiary and will have the right to 50% offtake at market rates. The result of this is that Piedmont would effectively take 50% of the profits of Ewoya at that level.ALL therefore are only entitled to 50% of the profits of Ewoya.
Piedmont will also have their 10% shareholding in ALL. So a further 5% (10% of 50%)
I's not clear yet where MIIF will hold it's share as there is talk of a quote on the Ghanaian Exchange , but it will dilute us shareholders. It probably won't dilute Piedmont's 50%, but will dilute its 10% holding along with us shareholders.
Tax take not included.
I don't thinl we know the final structure but for sure we ALL shareholders who aren't Piedmont or MIIF will only have 30-35% of the cake.

I havee listened again to the podcast.
The numbers CB is throwing about are all over the place.
Hr says near the start he will dig out 60000tons of rock a month. Kevin pickd up on that and quite logically calculated that putting it thro a concetrator to raise the grade to 5% would leave you with 12000 tons (at the 5%) to transport to refining. In my view CB got totally confused then and started spouting nonsense.
There were other points which were illogical. He said the open pit was nearing 6m tons , then he said 6.3m , then he went on and said the mine (ie below the open pit) was 3-7m tons, and added the total of open pit to the mine and came up with 18m tons. The maths says 9-13m. Immediately after that statement , he rushed on and i suspect he knew he had blundered.
He also name checked Analytical. I would like to know if Analytical is a mining expert. CB has a habit of praising people who on chat forums pick up on his over enthusiasms.
I am not a mining expert. I am invested in several of CB's companies.
I think Luansobe could be a success and GLR has some seemingly good potential, but lets use some judgement on what he says. Phil and Kevin never probe properly.
Xtr has been a big disappointment , totally down to CB and his over egging it. Bezant is also in the doldrums

It is impossible to mine 60000 tons of rock containing 1% copper ie 600 tons copper( when eventually fuly processed), and put it through a concentrator , discard 25% waste rock to give 45000 tons rock which now contain 2250 tons copper.
Where did the 1650 extra tons of copper come from. Magic !

Colin's comment of 40-45000 tons at 5% being shipped each month doesn' make sense to me.
It is after they have upgraded it in the concentrator and therefore implies the input to the concentrator (of the raw 1% rock) is 200-250000 tons a month. That's 5-6 million tons a year , when the whole shallow deposit is only 6-7 million.
