I paid 18p for some of these once. I'm not holding my breath for a return! Can't win 'em all.
This morning. Is something rustling in the Distil bushes?
The water levels looked like the 3 month SP chart *sigh*
Never thought I'd be grateful to the Daily Mail for anything!
£15 again in Tesco.
I'm in Mid Devon, spindok, so I know where you're coming from :D
I'd say Gin drinkers are not going to be looking for trendy names and funky labels. If it tastes good, it will sell. Agree about it being a crowded market, for both products. RedLeg really needs to break America. Time will tell.
That makes sense, John, thanks. There was talk at one point of selling the 'dirty' water for industrial use. I guess that was a non-starter. My other worry was this: presumably at some point we will be so far below the water table that (regardless of rainfall) water will seep in as fast as we can pump it out and we'll reach a stalemate situation? I don't mean to sound negative btw (believe me, with my average price here, I need the SP back in double figures to be anywhere near breaking even) just trying to get a clear picture of the dewatering process.
I'm going to be optimistic and assume someone bought 2m and then decided to put half of it into their ISA. There's absolutely no way to tell from the figures presented to us here, of course. Incidentally, I'm coming up on my two year anniversary in DISTIL, when I first bought in (at 1.13) on the back of a tip from my mate that "Blavod" was going to do well. The company had utterly transformed since then, now we can only wait and see just how much RedLeg they've managed to sell this year. If it catches the public interest here, we'll do very well. If it takes off big style in the USA... The sky's the limit.
Sometimes doesn't move for days this one. I sold half my holding last week to take a punt elsewhere so fully expect DIS to rocket now.
They were pumping out 65 million litres a day with almost no change to the water levels, and this was in the dry season. What hope do we have during the rainy months? Why can't the company buy/hire a third pump?
4.5p? You were lucky. Some of us bought as high as 18.47p
I think we need another pump.
Bought 1,111 shares yesterday. I'm not normally one for this 'Code One' nonsense, but why would someone buy £12 worth of any share. On a wind up maybe?
Role reversal today with RedLeg at £15 a bottle next to Sailor J at £19. Bought a couple of bottles. Will give them as birthday presents etc, every little helps!
"How much money do you put into sailor jerry to make it better and take on redleg against just buying redleg itself?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Like your thinking here, unvrkw. Looks like a win/win situation for us. FWIW, I bought a bottle of RedLeg between Christmas and New Year. Drank most of it straight up, with a couple of shots mixed with coke just for research purposes. Didn't do much for me, for all the talk of using real vanilla I found the spices almost saccarine and I certainly wouldn't rush to buy another bottle. But I'm a whisky drinker, so what do I know? :D My average here is bang on 1p so very happy with the prospects from here on in.
When the Distil brands get big enough, Diageo will buy us out. This is, I believe, DG's plan.
RedLeg £19 a bottle, right next to 'rebranded' Sailor Jerry in funky black bottle on offer at £15 - not sure if the lack of special offer on our product is a good or bad thing. Thoughts? Also haven't seen as much social media marketing of late from Blackwoods Gin.
Quoted 483p to sell, and lots of buying activity today. Been in the red on this one for longer than I care to remember!
is deafening!
