FXPO proudly advertises on their eebsite they contribute 3% of Ukraine’s GDP. A cruise missile costing a few mil, Iranian-made drone costing $20k or russias new highly effective dumb bombs made smart by putting guidance systems and fins costing $15k (not including the bomb which they have the biggest stock of unguided bombs in the world) would be worth knocking out 3% of Ukraine’s GDP.

Folks don't understand the power of U.S sanctions, not just materially that you can't legally do business but it makes you pariah even if other parts of your business such as POLY K/POLY Jersey are not sanctioned. The U.S will eventually accuse the subjwct target of supporting the russian gov, contributing to death and destruction in ukraine by propping up the russian treasury with taxes,/jobs etc, and eventually of funding terrorism.

It just isn't worth it as sanctions are tightening and even brokers don't see the risk reward as worth it. Poly is just 1 of 10ks shares brokwrs deal. Means nothing if they lose business from a few customers when the wider business is at risk.

In regards to Barclay, to be damn expected. Their wider business makes billions and they wont risk that for a few share dealing trades and possibly being cut off from the dollar.
