Imagine the WHO using POC at community level to test for HCV or AIHL or SARS-COV2 or TB in India, Africa or any country where these diseases cripple lives. Early diagnosis is far cheaper than dealing with chronic disease.

3.GDR is too small a company therefor governments consider a risk and buy elsewhere
4.BC are huge but they will be peddling our wares to large institutions that require EUA
5.One step liquid handling is the way forward and will come good hence BC roughing it out

DB was a broken man on his last presentation and he will not want the Jun update to be full of empty promises. Few more weeks and we should have a clearer picture one way or the other as I see it!

I like everyone else would want more news and sales updates. DB has stated in the past if the news isn't price sensitive he won't RNS like UNICEF announcement no figures yet disclosed so market would punish the lack of figures. It would be nice if someone he has responded to positively tried to reach out even if it was a news to follow reply. No matter what you think of him DB must be feeling the strain!

Personally I think he's reached for the stars and full marks for global ambition. Without stating all the obvious timing issues I still believe once the first and most important domino falls the rest will follow!

EUA and away!

BC must be doing everything in their power to get traction with the FDA as all those potential sales will be pending approval. GDR have suffered at the hands of the market after the 80p placing and none of their gains have held due to the lack of sales. Liquid handling at scale with one step processing and minimal waste is the way forward. The WHO claim SARS is with us for 5 years but it is beginning to look like it will be the new more deadly flu that will spike each winter. With the continued need to test accurately at speed & scale with the possibly at large events including airport/seaport entries PCR testing is here to stay. PHE will be looking at i7 Biomec now BC are involved for they have brought scale of effort and the distribution size that Genedrive could not do alone. Cytiva have expanded their capacity for bead production not solely because of the GDR collaboration but it is a simple, temperature stable, single user, way to process at scale world wide. GDR are ahead of the market not behind as I see it!
