"Ok so as always I've been digging..... where? you may ask.
Ive gained access into the official Government of Western Australia Department of mines, Industry regulation and safety database.
This gives access to realtime data where one is able to see the progress of applications and information regarding these in more detail.
so to save you all from holding your breath EVERYTHING is on track. This might be important considering Rod sold a small chunk which is more likely because the Proposed RTO with TMOR wasn't as smooth as he had hoped due to various external factors.
So here goes..
according to the database, the procedure for the tenement M47/1063 started on 05/05/2022
However, it was only referred to the Native Title on 07/09/2022 (WHICH WAS THE EXACT DATE ROD WAS APPOINTED!!!)
CURRENT STATUS: RTN in progress (Right to negotiate...with knac)
SECTION 29 NOTIFICATION DATE: 30/09/2022
(section 29 The Act requires that any relevant native title party, the registered native title body corporate, the Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island representative body, the National Native Title Tribunal and the applicant be notified of the State's intent to grant a right to mine over land that is subject to native title)
Grantee party sec 31 Letter sent:12/10/2022
(A section 31 deed will also be executed by the grantee party, the native title party and a representative for the State= Right to negotiate)
ILUA statutory declaration required? NO ( Indigenous Land use Agreement ,,,, addressing compensation payments to the native title group, for example, non-monetary compensation such as employment opportunities or transfer of freehold lands)
This application is a Section 67 conversion of part of E47/3954 which covers the whole tenement oiutside the red BOX see presentation P8
( section 67,Holder of exploration licence to have priority for grant of mining leases or general purpose leases)
From the above information we can see why Bill was booted out as he did not ensure the correct procudures as they should hence the delays .. its fair to say that Rod did do his job and that he has proved himself to be deal maker and you can also add the Mallina tenement renegotiation to that which grants us access to the great northern highway.
The current approval for the haul road is also pending....
Rod was clearly confident since he lodged the applications himself enough that he invested over £500k shortly after.
yes, timelines have been stretched but i'm still confident this will go through.
Its a lot of information to digest so hit me up anytime on Twitter or telegram if you have any questions..
