sorry bit slow myself in coming back, but unfortunately you did just miss it.
Interestingly the votes passed by all those who voted was between 93 and 96% for each of them - really, that would have shown an outstanding performance when I was at school?!
Shows one of the problems with our modern share system that on some nominee providers (i.e. my wifes AJ Bell) it is difficult, and the huge amount owned by many institutions who can't be bothered to vote lets through many bad decisions by not holding anybody to account.
Again many years ago, I remember poor behaviour by directors at Lupus Capital, resulted in a shareholders revolt (was mainly small shareholders) where all the directors were voted out, the non execs then ran it. They then found Greg Hutchings who reformed the company redirecting it to Tymans (that I believe is about to be taken over now by an american outfit - yet another story!).
Can't see that happening at all now and points to a general failure of PLC's and making it easier for Private equity etc.
