Also, why does it say there is a group loss of 6.2 million? What's the deal with this? If they had an EBITDA gain of 0.8 million, where is the loss coming from? Just loans?

I just don't understand why they did the funding for a new plant if the one they have now looks like it's in trouble. This is the bit I don't like: 'However, the existence of material uncertainties may cast significant doubt over the Group's ability to continue as a going concern and, therefore, as a result, it may be unable to realise its assets and discharge its liabilities in the normal course of business. If this were the case, the presentation of the Group financial statements on the going concern basis would be inappropriate and the Group financial statements would need to be represented on a break-up basis.'

So it looks like Glencore are indeed dumping large quantities of zinc in order to clear their debts. The question is how low this will move the zinc price. The good thing is that Zincox already have their zinc sold, so that they will make money as spindock says. For me whether it goes to 6p is irrelevant. I can't sell till it goes back up anyway. The thing I find amazing is this was crawling up to 17p not that long ago. Just shows how very dangerous this shares business is. Can change on a pin. I wonder how long this zinc crash will last....

Has to be said ZincOx seem a little jinxed. They have all the trouble getting the plant working then when they finally do China goes into meltdown.. Poor old ZincOx.

I think most of us are now in the red now. I certainly am. I think it will be a fair wait till zinc prices go up again, but for me there's no choice but to hold. It may be a long wait... It starting to look very bearish out there. What do we all reckon? Is this the start of another recession?

The thing I find weird is that the sp is moving so much by such small volumes being traded. Very odd.

Certainly a funny time for the sp to fall like this. Right before what promises to be a pretty good set of results.... Urm...

Looking at their history, they seem to release results on either the 24th or 26th September, So I'm guessing Monday?

Just remembering the Daily Mail Midas article I read in Feb 2012!! 'The shares are 71p and supporters believe they could be worth triple that. Buy.' Oh dear........

But still not in profit. Shame. Wonder how long this will take.

But the results are likely to be good surely? They have just had their first knit season of sales so should have good sales figures if all is going to plan. They are stocked everywhere now, so I can't see why the figures would be bad....

Why? If the results are good the sp should jump up? Or am I missing something?

Good to see the old team is still here!! Yes I think though this China thing is obviously not helping matters, ZOX should have everything sorted now, no more placings to worry about, a definite income (provided the new equipment is installed and works), and when Zinc prices go up again, the only way is up!!
