I've added the figures for 31st March in brackets: "net debt as at 31 July 2021 of £28.4m (£27.6m) and net debt excluding lease liabilities of £21.8m (£20.5m). A small but worthwhile reduction.
I'm intrigued by: "improve the pension scheme's funding level more quickly than would be the case by employer contributions alone" any ideas what that means?
You can watch a copy of the weninar at: https://presentations.investormeetcompany.com/investor-meet-company/CARCLO-PLC-Preliminary-Results-for-the-year-ended-31-March-21?bmid=b90a0cdac95f

So what questions should we be asking?
From last years results: "The actuarial valuation of the technical provisions deficit as at 31 March 2018 was £90.4 million (31 March 2015: £46.1 million). The next triennial valuation will be carried out as at 31 March 2021, with an expectation that the valuation and corresponding schedule of contributions will be agreed between the Company and the pension trustees before 30 June 2022. This will not change the agreed contributions up to July 2023." I think we can look forward to some good news on the deficit hopefully well before June 2022 though it may be two to three years before we see a dividend.
Can anyone point to me somewhere where they explain how prices are changed and reported?
I can't make sense of this morning price changes. Carclo's reported share trades at: https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/CAR/carclo-plc/trade-recap?page=15 it shows
8:29:02 500@70.00 & 8:37:58 3000@65.68
The graph shows the price dropping from 70.00 @ 8:34 to 65.58@8:36
If you mean at:https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/CAR/carclo-plc/trade-recap?page=4 then I've never seen trades marked as buy or sell. I do find that annoying, you can often deduce if a trade is a buy or sell from the price compared to other trades around the same time, given the wide spread. Talking of which the spread has often been well over 1p. now with the higher price and similar in absolute value spread things are a lot better.
I'm now in profit for the first time in years:-)
I just looked on https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/CAR/carclo-plc/company-page and it has Volume 294,181 Turnover (on book) £1,619.01 now 294181@26p= £76,487 Which would mean £75,000 (98%) OFF book. Am I misunderstanding this?
Also on some days there are numerous trades shown for less than £10, some less than 10 shares. Why would anyone trade in such low volume?
I'm a long term holder, I bought a lot of my holding near the top whilst the touch screen mania was about. If the price get to 34p I'll actually be in profit!
